Couldnt believe you actually had a stronghold under spawn, lol. Also, if you had a bell nearby and you rang it , due to the stronghold being under the bell woulda had green shimmer effects, like the one villagers have when u slap down a bed for them

Just wanted to give a tip. If you build a composter early game you can make bone meal with leaves that you get from crafting shears. It might take a lot of leaves but then you can use the bone meal for crops or trees. And i have also gone fishing in a 2x2 hole and it works. So there's that option as well.
