▻ This song shows the story of someone being at their lowest low and accepting the temptation of something bad. It makes them feel better at first but it makes their life worse and worse until they die from taking too much. Please never do this!

Lyrics (Also included in the video):

In the woods I met a man
Old as oak and staff in hand
Sunken eyes but gentle smile
We sat down and talked awhile

And he said I can see it in your eyes
You've been hurt a couple times
I've got the perfect antidote
To cure a heart of stone

Tiny red pills in a big blue bottle
He put them right in my hands
Said this stuff can do wonders take you to nirvana
Make you a better man

I should've known something was amiss
When I saw his smile turn to a grin
But
Then as he left me
There so perplexed
He turned and said

One to numb the hurt
Two to ease the pain
Three to clear your mind
Forget all the hate
Take as I advised
Not more than prescribed
Several weeks ahead
You'll be fine again

One to numb the hurt
Two to ease the pain
Three to clear your mind
Forget all the hate
Take as I advised
Not more than prescribed
Several weeks ahead
You'll be fine again

So I went home
My heart confused
Didn't know just what to do
I popped the cap
And took a dose
After all what could I lose

And then I touched the clouds and bathed in sky
A magic broom a carpet ride
Before I fell and woke in bed
Tried to repeat the words he said

One to numb the hurt
Two to ease the pain
Three to clear my mind
Forget all my hate
What did he say next
I forget the rest
But several weeks ahead
I'll be fine again

One to numb the hurt
Two to ease the pain
Three to clear my mind
Forget all my hate
Five could never hurt
Just to calm my nerves
Several weeks ahead
I'll be fine again

Tiny red pills in a big blue bottle
Wish I had the strength back then
Need to get a refill chase away the evil
All the whispers in my head

But I can't find the man I knocked on his door
His neighbors say no one lived there before
So now all my days
Just blur in a haze
They go like this

One to stop the chills
Two to ease the pain
Three to wash my guilt
Forget all my shame
Five could never hurt
Six couldn't be worse
Seven days it's been
Here we go again

One to stop the chills
Two to ease the pain
Three to wash my guilt
Forget all my shame
Five could never hurt
Six couldn't be worse
Seven days it's been
Here we go again

Here we go again
Here we go again
Oh

To stop the pain
Forget my shame
Ah

One
Two
Three
Four
Five
Six

  • Thank you for sharing my new song, Sinnon! 🥹🌹 This is probably the darkest song I've ever written. Thank you guys for listening ❤
  • Any noticed how the chorus changed as the song got darker and darker?
  • Anybody notice how in the second verse when he can’t remember the second part of what the man had said, he only happens to not remember how the man told him to take as he advised and not more than prescribed? He only listened to the one, two, three, four part and then went against the man’s warnings and added a fifth and a sixth pill. It’s the little details like that that rlly makes me appreciate song writing such as this.
  • When you are happy you enjoy the music when when you are sad you understand the lyrics
  • POV: you just randomly clicked on the song and now it’s a favorite
  • Rosendale is quickly becoming one of my favorite artists - and I have your nightcores to thank for it :D (Thank you!!!!)
  • 1:17 is the best part for me honestly. Forget all about this world and fly to a different dimension. I just get this feeling when the bg changes and his voice sounds hopeful.

I noticed that at the end when he was counting, there were beeps like he was in the ER . Great job as always though 👍
  • This song gives me goosebumps Another great piece of art ☺️ thanks to the who wrote it

this reminds me of what i had gone through just delved deeper and deeper into the void. i didnt want to die but i wanted the pain to stop. i stopped because i knew where it would lead and decided not to let my mother go through that pain. the rest of the world could burn for all i cared. but she tried so hard to make me and my brother happy. although we had nothing we were loved.
  • I love how "forget" can sound like "four" meaning they probably downed 4 pills
  • @tenshishimura
This song hits hard all his music is so real and raw with emotion and truth. I love it but.. I can’t help but wonder if how he’s doing as person.. I hope he’s happy and doing well
  • Fact: rosendale wasn’t sure whether to release this song because he thought it was a bit to dark (but the comments on the short with the question said otherwise 😊)
  • @lilb3108
This song touches real, and as the chorus changes the more i feel the song deeper,i love it😍😘
  • @kitten1727
Why..... I love Sinnon but how does the original not have this many views?! Man's voice is godly.
  • I have been listening to it over and over.....the song just hit the hits the right spot......even though I don't know what spot it is
  • @sa-kirisa
