It’s great to see an age gap like friendship that isn’t creepy. I’ve seem numerous times in shows where it was the older men were being very predatory like to women. In this show, it’s two older guys who see the younger woman as only a friend and colleague. No flirting, no inappropriate jokes, and no crossing boundaries. I love it

She does seem happier as an actress. She said singing made her feel as if she’s giving too much of herself and not enough left over for her own self. Whereas acting allows her to breathe and not have to give so much of herself away.
