  • Actually I’ve just had a brilliant idea. I would join all the little bits you cut off and make the bias out of those. Ugh can’t wait to make it.

I have done several kinds of weavings in the past, but I have never seen anything like yours! This is so unique! Great! Thanks!

  • This is lovely! Very labor-intensive, but even my limited sewing skills could manage this. This would have to be a gift for someone I care about a LOT! Thank you for sharing!
  • What a neat idea. Love how you used the clips to hold everything in place as you wove it. Thanks for sharing!

Great use of fabric scraps! That is a very nifty tool for turning the strips right side out.

Thank you! My daughter-in-law would love this. If I include a plastic liner, could be used with a pretty house plant.

This is a fantastic idea. I’ve been trying to find ways to use the mountain of left over fabric pieces. This is perfect. I would love to try and make it larger, like handbag or shopping bag size.
  • @dianewalker2935
That's beautiful, a lovely way to use your left over fabrics.
  • I absolutely love it. When I have strips left over I’m going to make them straight away and then do the basket when I get enough. ❤
