Whenever I see Vidit and Hikaru I remember Vidit giving check to Hikaru's king with his king. Seems Hikaru is always scared of Vidit.😂
  • @Bot-mb3by
Little did Hikaru know, the king sac 3 years ago is the key for Vidit winning two Candidates games against him.
  • Vidit is either winning or losing. He's clear about his strategy. He's not messing around forcefully drawing the games like a few other players who prefer to do so.
  • @Yusuf_K7
Vidit has Nakamura’s number, just as Nakamura has Fabi’s.
  • @AllBeganwithBBS
I was pretty convinced that Firouzja would convert that game into a victory, but Nepo ended up not faltering after playing only best moves.
  • @thetaxiucla
It ain’t easy being a Hikaru fan. That is a one man roller coaster. For the time being I suppose, it’s back to ‘Hikaru just doesn’t care!’ 😂
  • @ramachandra776
Vidit is a nightmare for attackers like Hikaru and Dubov . he can defend extremely well and if your attack fizzles out , he is bound to punish you .
  • @anurag4052
Qd6 line shown live by Judit was beautiful
  • Vidit against other GMs:-:yougotthis: Vidit against Hikaru:- :elbowcough:
  • @Shivshakti998
vidit is taking us all on a roller coaster ride..meanwhile he has thrown hikaru off the roller coaster.
  • @alahiri22
Hikaru losing twice to Vidit in this tournament was not something anyone expected (except perhaps Vidit)
  • “And unfortunately this is the move that loses him the game…” Love the way Antonio reveals the outcome
  • @vik24oct1991
error in the names, hikaru is now called hikaru vidit gujrathi after this adoption.
  • @ashoksafaya5397
Thanks for taking up the game for analysis which I have watched live but a bit late having missed the opening phase now available.
  • @kaldrazadrim
Antonio, the schedule may be bad for you, but I love getting these evening videos from you in the USA! Thanks for the great coverage!
  • I guess one thing extra in the photo is we can see Anna Muzychuk and Aleksandra Goryachkina in the background playing their match in the Women's Candidates. Edit: Yes, I had to correct the spellings! Oops.
