Gonzaga came back from down 13 at halftime to be up by 10 with with 2:30 left to be down by 1 with 18 seconds to hit a logo 3 to win. What a game!!
  • That last Gonzaga 3 is literally what Villanova ran to beat UNC in the national title game

This was like a final four matchup in the sweet 16 it felt. Another instant classic when these teams meet
  • As a diehard zags fan who lives in Spokane this game gave me like five heart attacks

Timme was doing EVERYTHING. Rebounds, 3’s, blocks, scoring in the paint. He does so much for his team. Respect man 💪🏼

That last shot was insane, wouldn’t have thought they’d gone for that but hey - it worked!

Kudos to both teams, fans, and coaches. Very impressive effort, amazing athletes!

This is hands down the most entertaining tournament I’ve borne witness to. So many close games and unexpected upsets. Just sad my frogs lost so early
  • @mwaeszkx
The spirit of Adam Morris and lives on with these two teams play
  • And to think of that shot doesn’t go in, Drew Timme would forever hate himself for missing those two free throws. Good thing he gets another chance

What a game. This tourney has turned in some all time great games

What an exciting game! I'm impressed with Timme, but I have to agree with the UCLA bench about his travels. There were a good 3 or 4 plays where he shuffles his feet or changes pivot feet with no travel calls. This game is the definition of an exciting March Madness game.

In 2006 sweet sixteen, UCLA was down 13 at the half and won. In 2023 sweet sixteen, Gonzaga was down 13 at the half and won.

What a game! Drew Timme's footwork is always a beauty to watch. I have Gonzaga going all the way this year, rooting for you zags!

unbiased fan of neither team this is one of the greatest games of all time the swagger to just pull up at the logo down 1 is CRAZY!!
  • @dezchiboi7650
Great adjustment by Zags coach going with Malachi smith and sallis in the 2nd half changed the game 2 bigger guards that kept their man out the paint

As a Texas Longhorns fan thank you Gonzaga for saving my bracket!!
  • Main takeaway from this game is just how good this UCLA team is. They are probably the best team in the country. It took Gonzaga, the nation’s best offense, a desperate three point shot 5 feet beyond the three point line to beat a UCLA squad without its two best defenders and 40% of its starting lineup. We’re talking about the best defender in the country (Clark) and conference freshman of the year (Bona). We all know what happened the last time a team squeezed out a narrow win over these Bruins without Bona and Clark. They lost to a #15 seed in the first round.

As a Zags fan I had some serious 2006 Sweet 16 PTSD for about 5.2 seconds of game action. What a game. Go Zags. And to UCLA fans who are broken hearted right now. I know your pain
