My wife is 8 months pregnant and as she was driving today, she got involved in a terrible head collision accident. Her car was pushed 15 metres away while she was inside. She was displaced from the driving seat to the passenger seat. I thank God she survived without any injuries except swellings. After checkups, the baby is 100% okay. God is great.

Gonna be 95 years old Friday. I began to listen to this music in the 70‘s. I spend my hole life into jazz. Jazz was my life. Crazy how life takes you.

Listening to Bossa Nova is like taking a mental vacation to the beaches of Brazil. So refreshing and uplifting.

30 years ago, I opened a jazz club. My intention was to offer “INTRODUCTORY” jazz, like soft vocal that people can relate to the melody, or joyful and carefree Dixieland jazz, even Big Band Swing or acid jazz for the alternative crowd. I was hoping to attract the typical rock, pop, and country music enthusiasts. However, everybody wanted to be Miles Davis. Headliners or second liners would bring in BIG CROWDS …. of 60 people “if” we were lucky. Cats, if you are reading this, without food jazz doesn’t keep you alive. Play what you can sell. After the gig; play what you like. The club doesn’t mind cos they keep selling booze til 5am.

This is the type of music that is for stress relief, to sleep, to study, and just to listen to.

This caught me off guard the music arrangements both lyrical and instrumental are excellent .
