In 1978 I was a student at Grenoble University. We British students became friends with a group of charming and hospitable Iranians who were studying nuclear science in Grenoble, presumably at the invitation of the French government. Merci les gars!

Well if it really wants self preservation then it should not create reason of war against a particular country that it doesn't want to relate or binds itself for a conflict later on.
