Final Fantasy X was one of the best games I’ve beat this year and playing it was definitely a 2020 highlight for me. The unique turn-based gameplay was hella fun and challenging. I can fasho see why people put it as their #1 in the series.

The game’s story was incredible. I really enjoyed its message of creating your own destiny and the importance it placed on the relationship between father and son. Truly an unforgettable experience.

The ending of the game was phenomenal. Nobuo Uematsu created one of the most powerful pieces of music with FFX’s “Ending Theme” and I had to learn it on the piano. It’s one of those pieces that even without its visuals, you can still picture exactly what’s happening in that final, iconic cutscene.

I’m a self-taught pianist, so don’t mind my imperfect techniques lol. This was definitely the hardest piece I’ve ever learned (especially that bit at 1:39 haha). I chose to only learn the “To Zanarkand” portion of the piece because to me, this part of the piece best encapsulates the emotions of the entire game. And it’s the dopest part of the piece.

I’m proud of how this cover came out :)
