Dave is the only one who's taking his new year's resolutions seriously.

Product design is alive and kicking! Hats off to the engineers who pulled this through!

1500$ is crazy! I would have bet on 2000 or 2500. The ability to have one of the screens to be at eye-level, out of the box, is amazing.

I love how Asus and Lenovo always come up with innovative products.

Man, this laptop is actually so cool Is there any kind of coating on the bottom screen? It would panic me using this in public incase the surface I’m placing the keyboard on isn’t full clean (like a coffee shop table having little granules of sugar) and then you’re putting the keyboard back onto the screen when you’re done to pack up

Laptop makes Dave happy. Double screen laptop doubles the happiness of Dave. 😂

This is a laptop I would buy in a heartbeat. There are SO many uses for those dual screens. And the thought of sitting in bed with the keyboard and parking the laptop's dual screens somewhere else so I can use it from afar is truly game changing.

Okay, that detachable keyboard thing is super badass. I haven't wanted a Windows laptop in years—until now.

I actually went "Oh..." when I saw that stand on the bottom. Honestly, I think this form factor is definitely a strong contender for any future laptop I buy. For productivity, it's unbeatable. Imagine drawing on the bottom screen and having all your references on the top screen. To that end, I would maybe suggest a smaller, but wide stand closer to the main hinge so that the bottom screen can be tilted toward the user for more comfortable drawing.

This feels like the natural direction that laptops should go, just an extra screen for a bit more productivity without the hassle or bulk of extra physical monitors.

They have absolutely nailed a couple of key design innovations on this. The perfectly integrated keyboard, and the rear stand to prop up the second screen are so smart and suddenly make this concept really viable. Previous dual full screen laptops did not have these and it would be difficult to envision actually using them. Turning half a touch screen into a touch keyboard for instance that's just not a good solution. I often set my 12-in tablet up next to my laptop and plug it in as a second screen which works well but is pretty cludgy and I need two laptop stands and a cable to make this setup comfortable. This design is really brilliant and I hope other makers copy and approve upon this.

I love how the first 2 minutes of the video are like a Day in the Life of Dave2D segment.

Dave is killing it, at this rate, we will need DaveTV to keep up

This is a game changer, amazing, thank you Dave for bringing this one up!

I bought a Yoga Book 9i dual screen laptop after seeing one setup in Best Buy. It's amazing. Honestly the number one thing I hated about laptops was giving up the screen space and ergonomics of a desktop. This solves this and looks beautiful.
  • Seems like they really thought this one through. I like it. The stand, the rubber protection and the screens make it a pretty neat product.
  • @Tibialstone7
This is revolutionary IMO. Yes it's been done before, but they are really pioneering the type of tech which will we all be using one day. It's an engineering masterpiece.
  • I've been obsessing over this glaringly obvious idea for a laptop since i first saw the ROG mothership concept. I'm thrilled that a company has actually made it and I'm thrilled to hear it's as excellent in practice as it was in my head lol

This seems as innovative and refined as the Steam Deck. The kind of product that will set the new standard for that medium going forward! Really awesome, thanks for sharing.
