Day in the Life with POTS & a Service Dog | Chronic Illness Vlog

Published 2023-03-05
I was diagnosed with POTS a few days ago after highly suspecting it for nearly four years. This is just a glimpse into how it can affect my life while I try to just do daily activities!

Thanks for this. I'm seriously thinking about a service dog to help with my POTS. Time to get my life back!
  • He did real good on the off leash work. You mentioned in part of the video that the environment was very noisy, do you have any tips on desensitizing your dog to stressful sounds in the environment. Also, I’m looking for a vest that would fit a 55–57 pound Labrador, do you have any ones that you no longer use which you would consider trading for?
  • I was wondering if you are required where you live to pick up after your dog after he goes #2. It's required in my state, and me being in a wheelchair doesn't make me exempt from picking up his #2's so I had to buy a long handle pick up tool to carry along just in case he goes #2 on a potty stop.
  • Ur so blessed to have such a wonderful partner - u work so well together! Thx for sharing your day w/us, sorry u weren’t feeling well. Stay safe!🐾
