Work from Home Friday, a day in the life ft. a weekend trip to Lewes

I’m so happy you’ve uploaded today. I’ve had a bit of a day at work (maybe more like a bit of a week) and as I was walking home from the station (in the pouring rain) I decided that tonight I would have sort of a self care, protect your peace sort of night. I had a bath, ordered some takeaway and then spotted this video - perfect timing! Lewes looks really cute, and definitely nice for a quick weekend away - looking forward to seeing what you bought! I must admit, I do love a Gail’s, their chocolate almond croissant is amazing. Have a great rest of your week! x

What a lovely town Lewes is Jess! All town centres in the UK should be as pretty with loads of independent shops. I’m a massive supporter of independent’s and the arts and crafts, and British heritage artisan skills. My absolute bug bear is beautiful historic towns which allow garish, ugly, trashy signage and those vile plastic flowers.draped everywhere. This was lovely company for my commute home 😊. It’s properly raining now - hard to believe it was so nice just a few days ago! Glad you got to enjoy it!
