I've seen Higurashi compared to ReZero quite a bit, for a couple reasons, so I was glad you added that in this.

Well okarin is my second fav mc, first is subaru just for the fact, yeah okarin suffers as well but he doesnt die, he tries again by travelling through time with a machine, in the case of subaru he gets killed brutaly to restart and "fix" things, the fact that he constantly has to feel brutal shit makes him a better character and also he is not even smart like okarin but i guess i prefer okarin's personality

But i cant compare to be honest each show and mc has flaws and great things about them, and just for the fact both of them have flaws, makes them awesome characters, and thats part of being a human
