A new synthetic opiate has killed dozens of European heroin users. Nitazenes, which are up to 300 times more potent than heroin, are increasingly showing up in the continent’s drug supply, sparking fears that they could fuel a surge of overdoses, on par with North America’s fentanyl crisis.

We’re now in such a degraded society that genuine heroin seems like a cigarette compared to what’s out there now
  • Repeat after me: THERE IS NO WAR ON DRUGS, ONLY A WAR FOR DRUGS, PROFIT, AND POWER

"We can thank authentic afghan heroin for the relative lack of deaths across the continent" Love that sentence

There never has been a war on drugs. There always has been a drug war on the competition.

Crazy to think that back in the days, we used to have to worry about our drugs being laced with Heroin. Now we have to worry about our Heroin being laced with Fentanyl.

Compared to Nitizines, heroin can be considered harm reduction.

This really hits home as my brother passed away in February of a drug overdose. Police think whatever he was taking was laced with fentanyl.

I won’t sugar coat this or make it reader friendly. My brother died yesterday from a possible drug overdose on my grandmothers couch. He died with his cousin sitting beside him, uncle in another room, and grandmother another room down. Before they realized it, he was gone! A few seconds minutes it went from simple Tuesday to a crime scene. Once those drugs enter your body, without proper medical intervention YOU ARE DEAD! Someone who didn’t know him, love him, or care about him gave him drugs that would kill him ALL for a quick buck. I am currently sitting outside still unable to process. I don’t think people understand the severity of this situation. Drugs do not discriminate. Death does not discriminate. If there is anyone out there struggling with addiction get help. Anyone in recovery and seeing the signs that you may possibly relapse, get help! If you think your loved ones won’t understand try them or reach out and get help. NO ONE can understand, listen, or work with you if you don’t REACH OUT and get help. You are not alone. You are worth it. He definitely was! RIP JT 05/ 21/24 🕊️

Most of the people are slaving away just to survive. Its actually a miracle that it has not happened earlier

The drug problem increased exponentially since 2020. The Covid crisis, lockdowns caused mental health to go down and more choosing substance abuse. I have seen it myself people who were normal and now destroying their lives in front of my eyes
