UP 844 Arriving in Alamogordo, New Mexico 11-5-11

Saturday, November 5th, 2011 Union Pacific #844 backs down the main line and then pulls forward into the Alameda Park siding in Alamogordo, New Mexico. The train had stopped beyond the siding switch before I arrived. As is usual with 844, a beautiful collection of UP streamliner cars is behind the engine. Also as usual, it is extremely windy in the Tularosa Basin, and no one was allowed to cross the tracks to avoid the glaring sun.
