you see kevin spacey in the government with an american flag behind, you just never forget his role in the "house of cards"
  • @Cloofinder
"What you see is advanced warfare..." Roll credits
  • I like how the U.N gasps are worse when he says their wars don’t work but not as bad when he mentions having a nuclear weapon

Irons may be the villain of the story, but he's spitting facts.

This game still from 2014 looks amazing graphically, The faces look so good, it's insanse, obviously not photo-realistic of course but man its close.
  • 0:33 Everybody cried here, not because of the dead man, but because it said “Hold ⬜️ to pay respects” instead of the classic “Press F”

"Ideas don't determine who's right, power determines who's right. And I have power, I am right."

This actor is just TO good to be the bad guy. In movies and in games. A true Actor of evil characters. He deserved an Emmy.
  • 14:46 “they wielded the biggest stick” After shepherd from MW2 saying “Sure it matters the biggest stick, but it matters a hell of a lot more of who’s swinging it” It makes a lot more sense of what shepherd was referring to

Irons is an amazing villain for several reasons, but mainly because he appeals to what people think is right and wrong. The reason his betrayal works so well is because the player so far has only seen the positives of a person who doesn't need any kind of governmental approval and is doing what is "right" by their standards. Then the player is given a cold hard look at the reality of a person who doesn't care about rules and regulations and wields absolute power, Irons does what he believes is right even if by everyone else's standards it's monstrous. Advanced Warfare teaches the player a lesson about giving 1 person complete control over everything and expecting them to be a great person as well.
  • Multiplayer and Exo Zombies were both flops, but Advanced Warfare's campaign was honestly one of the best in CoD.

the graphics in these cutscenes were absolutely unreal. The motion and tiny movements in the face are so fluid and realistic it's lifelike. It's crazy how good this game was yet it was still shat on by the cod fanbase.

"Are we developing such a weapon? No we are not..." Audience: Clapping "... because we've already developed it." Audience: OOOOOHHHHHHHH !!!

Imagine Elon Musk not making future cars but weapons of mass destruction lol.

9:54 I love the cinematography in this scene. The fear and concern in the man’s voice. Irons’s “no” which makes the characters freeze, but Irons eases the concern into reassurance when he says they will “tell everyone”. Then when the audience feels he’s going to stop the attacks, he turns around and shoots him. Along with the camera angle where your character is standing, Irons walks around the man and pats his shoulder, where you can’t see his face. Not seeing his appearance anymore creates this feeling that the meeting is over and he is going to sort out the situation. So when he does turn around and shoot him, his face reveals the true layer under his character. And Gideon’s shocked “fuck me!” reaction coincides with the audience’s shocked reaction. It makes the kill and his character reveal more intense. The campaign really does feel like a cinematic thriller (and action) movie.

Ladies and gentlemen , in this video a LEGENDARY MEME WAS BORN
  • @blueorange9067
Damn Irons was such a high quality villain, I'd look the other way when that woman showed the video of him killing Hades and remain within Atlas. That's how charismatic he was.
  • @DRourkey
I don't know why but for some reason I remember the "press f to pay respects" meme blowing up when I was a kid, but it started here, and I was not a kid when it started
  • This was the first time I saw COD with some fresh new visuals from cinematics to gameplay.
  • i never played that game but i actively watched the videos about its campaign story. to be frank that is maybe one of the best story i ever saw in a game. endearing characters, cool villain with good intentions but with bad executions, effective plot, interesting political and militarized themes... it's just a big shame this is actually in a COD game. if only this story would be in a separated game. or in a good movie.
