Lyrics:

You won't hear me, But you'll feel me
Without warning, somethings dawning, listen.
Then within your senses,
You'll know you're defenseless
How your heart beats, when you run for cover
Your cant retreat I spy like no other.

Then we race together. We can ride forever
Wrapped in horsepower, driving into fury
Changing gear I pull you tighter to me

I'm your turbo lover
Tell me there's no other
I'm your turbo lover
Better run for cover

We hold each other closer, as we shift to overdrive
And eveyrthing goes rushing by, with every nerve alive
We move so fast it seems as though we've taken to the sky
Love machines in harmony, we hear the engines cry.

I'm your turbo lover
Tell me there's no other
I'm your turbo lover
Better run for cover

i am a car mechanic and here is a tip for you all: when you play this song on your car's audio, it automatically gains +20% horsepower

I don’t care if this is supposed to be their worst album, this song kicks ass.
  • @Airmaster360
RIP to my dear dad (62), he always played this song in the hummer whenever we drove somewhere.

This is what heavy metal is truly made Of: The Best Songs, and the Worst Video Clips
  • @benw4409
Rob Halford screaming "I'm your turbo lover" is still more metal then you'll ever be.

This song is timeless. I discovered Judas Priest in 2014 while I was 18 and hanging out with bikers. Still love them, it’s one of my favourite bands. So much better than most „modern“ metal bands.

I am so sorry Officer I was listening to Judas Priest and I didn’t realize how fast I was going 😂
  • So... After buying my son his own electric guitar for his 14th birthday, he asked me to show him what I listened to when I was a teenager. This was among the first videos I showed him. He looked at the video, then at me, and I could almost hear him thinking, "So that's why Dad is so weird..."
  • i'm turning 54 and still listen to this. i am stuck in the 80's, but it's ok.

This is my favorite song from Judas Priest and It's also one of the best heavy metal songs from the 80's in my opinion. This is the perfect song to listen to while driving fast.

All time classic. My daughter loves this song. Trying to raise her right with good stuff like The Priest.

This song definitely holds a special place for me. My Dad had a VHS of a Judas Priest documentary which among other things happened to have almost all of Turbo Lover on it. I think I was around 9 or 10 at the time when I found it one day and the tape happened to be stopped right at the start of the song. I had trouble remembering names at the time so I'd always refer to it as the "skeleton song." My Dad saw that I really liked the song and turns out he had a lot of records of other rock bands. We ended up listening to those records for a couple hours a few times. Turbo Lover was basically my first introduction into metal/rock music. My Dad is still around and we still discuss music but those are certainly good memories to have over 23 years later.
  • Judas Priest was my first taste of Rock! I was 11 and thought this is the most amazing music I've ever heard! I'm 54 now, still can't get enough of it!
