Cal getting the classic Dark Side Choir has been one of the most hype moments. Mowed through an entire squad in seconds.

Merrin did what padmé couldn't. Pulled the man that she loved back from the precipice of the dark side.

I really like that Merrin is the one to pull him back to the light, kinda goes to show that the Council was wrong about how they viewed having emotions and relationships. If not for his love for Merrin, Cal could’ve very easily gone down the path of the dark side.

Fun fact: Force Slow (in legends at least) is a dark side ability only useable by Sith. If I recall correctly, I believe it was shown to us through Kotor 1 and 2. Fun fact #2: Every time Cal used it in Fallen Order during a cutscene, you could visibly see anger and fear during said uses, specifically during the opening section and Order 66 scenes. Now look at this section: not only is Force Slow massively improved, but its only this powerful when Cal is super pissed. It took a couple years, but the foreshadowing and payoff from Fallen Order to Fallen Survivor is worth it in my opinion.

Most people dont actually know how many things change in darkness cal gameplay: -Force lifting opponents will kill -Force attack will throw the lightsaber in a circle -You can force pull and stab purge troopers -You can force pull and crush security droids -finally, using a yellow lightsaber in darkness mode makes it look Red

He can kill a thousand storm troopers but not one very evil guy

Can you imagine palpatine reaction to seeing cal like this in the security footage ?

This is very similar to Ghost Stance in Ghost of Tsushima. Though I do wish Cal will learn Vaapad since it is a form that uses the dark side but never submit to it.

He didn't embrace his darkness. He embraced his freakin' inner Jack The Reaper! Edit: if you'll look closely on the "Ripper mode" moveset, you'll actually see it's Cere's moves. So Cal does all of this to avenge her, to honor her, even if it gets wrong.
