    Great seeing Tom Selleck's Magnum break the fourth wall like the other episodes to acknowledge the viewers. No offense to the new Magnum PI since it is also good, but there is only one Magnum and that is Tom Selleck.

    I noticed that in the closing credits of the series finales of both this show and Simon & Simon, Universal TV is still inexplicably using the "Television Code" badge in the copyright notice (before the logos appear) since that badge was done away with by the Fall of 1983 on not just Universal TV but TV as a whole.

    Regular TV off after the Universal TV logo, then TV off via remote. A fitting way to end the original Magnum PI series.
