Grew up playing oracle of ages and in my late 20s now it's still my 2nd fav game of all time just behind twilight princess

Oracle of Seasons and ages were my first Zelda games. It was fun, i even managed to borrow a gameboy color from a friend to do the linked stuff

I loved both of these games. I remember getting Oracle of Seasons and Jak and Daxter for Christmas that year when I was a kid.

Truly, these videos are fantastic. They're such high quality in every aspect, they deserve so much more exposure. I am thoroughly invested in seeing all future endeavors. Any thoughts on covering any of the Mario RPG games? Always enjoy content on them. But I'll take what I can get, that is to say whatever it is you want to cover. You make it, I'm gonna watch it. Keep it up dude. Can't recall if I've already asked that question too. Haven't gone back through the previous videos to see if I did post a comment so I apologize if this repeated.

Thank you! A friend and me have been talking about playing these games for our first time. I'm hyped now.
  • I wasn't old enough for video games when these came out. By the time I was old enough for my first handheld, the DS Lite had already come out. I'm rectifying this by playing through the Oracle Games right now.

this is extremely well build and presented video. These two games are my fav in the zelda series and in my top 3 easy right up there with Gothic 1 and 2

Great presentation. I love the Oracle series

Love this pair. Have always dreamed of a prequel or sequel

Your choice of filter was rather heavy-handed but still appreciated.

All the well deserved praise aside, as I love both of these games, I think we can all agree the stupid Goron dance mini game requiring you to do it like 3 times, was just absolutely terrible. That mini game alone makes me hesitate to replay Ages. (although I did replay the games like last year, multiple times to get enough of the Secrets to max out gear, in both english and japanese , not all the rings though) These are in my opinion some of the best Zelda games taking all 3 Gameboy/Gameboy Colour games over most of the 3D Zelda games, but damn that mini game is so anti fun and it stops your progress completely.

It's "Ocarina". Not "Acarina". It's an Italian instrument in a Japanese game.

5:06 I'm researching the Oracle games and although I keep seeing this claim about Okamoto threatening Miyamoto (mostly repeated in YouTube video essays) I can't find the source for the claim anywhere online. Do you have a source on this? I'm trying to corroborate it.
