Dr Bright is not allowed to plant SCP-173 to “Grow more peanuts”
  • @KingEggoStudios
The Class-D that survived both of the SCP-173s is a god at staring contests.
  • It's rare that people don't mention the outro. But the insanity of just casually turning your back on Peanuts is outstanding

173: * Starts duplicating * The SCP Foundation: This evolved into a big fucking problem
  • @Gears_Starting
After hearing about another SCP called The Eye Pods and how one helped re-contain 173 by looking at it with its unblinking eye, I had an idea on how they could better contain 173. The eyes that look at SCP-173 do not need to be human to keep the anomaly at bay, so I wonder if they could put a bunch of flies in 173's containment to keep it from becoming active. Each fly has many unblinking eyes, so 173 will not be snapping any necks if there are enough flies around. The feces 173 produces can also help to create more flies as the flies lay their eggs on it that will then be eaten by maggots.

Those D Classes and the looks on their faces had me laughing so hard! I loved the conversation between them before they were violently killed. I apologize for my inappropriate laughter at this horrible situation.

Scp 173 in a nutshell: neck breaking peanut

Dude I remember when you had less than 10k subscribers and only had 2 videos, I'm proud of you doctor

Note left out from Dr. Bright's log: "The only good news is that about 150 of those bastards teamed up and ripped SCP-682 apart. Brought a smile to my face."
  • @joshuabush2700
173 is among the more terrifying SCP's. It's purpose and motivations being mysterious. And the only safety against it is constant observation. A serious difficulty. Even 682 is afraid of it. I'd rather have to deal with 049. At least he has clear motives.
  • The first ever written and best-known SCP continues to terrify us.
  • @grifgrif_4
So this is why it feels like 173 is in two places at once in Containment Breach...
  • @liamcook9220
"And his face goes white" Damn you weren't kidding, he's as white as snow
  • @oboll6064
11:22 Did someone make 049 an 05 council member after XK was announced or what? The member on the left looks strangely like a plague doctor-
  • Of all the terrifying scps, scp 173 will forever be the one scp I fear most.
  • @Cayde-6sHorn
Even though this tale isn't official canon, it's not any less terrifying.
  • @CyberSlayer128
It's interesting how one small change can make such a big difference.
  • The D-class moping must have been in a good position to keep both 173 instances in line of site until help arrive, otherwise he wouldn't stand a chance even with just winking
  • For an elite specialized foundation, they didn’t think of putting the instances in cells so small that a duplicate should not be able to form?
