Nonetheless, if one does not subscribe to Hindu philosophy, it's a different matter. Criticizing a subject without understanding its core essence is akin to spreading misinformation. Hi Dhruv, I am one of your strong followers. I like your facts, but not necessarily always your opinions about everything. You may be right about some people misusing astrology but it is their fault. If someone misuses maths or science, it is not the fault of the subject, but that of the individual misusing it. I strongly recommend you to research more about the subject, then have an opinion and not just form your opinion based on some incompetent people who don't know how, when and where to use this gyan. Thank you

I'm an engineering student and now by profession an engineer, I also didn't believe all that but when I started working and came across the people in my office, I've seen even CEOs go to these astrologers (& priests) when their business is not performing well, then I realised it's not that they don't know all these facts and arguments, what I've noticed is that people believe in all this because this is the last thing which gives them hope to live and bounce back, I think when someone is broken or disturbed personally or professionally, these beliefs can give hope to that person to find a way to live, this is completely my personal opinion based on so far what I've encountered!!

You are 100% logically and practically correct, but somewhere a unconscious bias towards astrology or tarot card, plays a role when we face our bad times. It does not actually mean every individual who follows astrology might be impractical or illogical. It happens when we start losing our confidence and start looking for some confidence. I do believe in GOD though !!!

My father has a good knowledge of astrology as my great grandfather was an astrologist so he had taught my father. My father invests in stock market , is a central govt employee and we are good happy family. The point here is which even my father says is astrology is not the problem but fake astrologists are. Same goes with tarot as well.
