"As long as you're standing a safe distance away, it won't hurt you." Um... Yeah. That literally applies to everything. No matter what it is, if it hurts you then you were by definition too close.

Regarding the first (#12), the well-timed visit to a volcano about to blow, I cannot help thinking of those poor research scientists when Mt. St. Helens blew. They were five miles away at what they believed was a safe distance. The very first eruption took them out to such an extent that they were never heard from again and no one ever found their remains. Since then I have always considered anyone going to view a volcano up close as idiotic, insane or possibly suicidal.

props to that cop for his heroic hop while bringing that boats props to a stop.

there are quite a few folks doing compilation videos on youtube these days - but the quality of decent information and especially the narration (and the care you take with pronunciation) is exceptional with your videos and does not go unnoticed. They are the only ones I end up watching all the way through.
  • That #9 spiral, round rocket seemed like it was going to be a bust. Then, it seemed like it was going to blow. But then it reached proper RPM and spiraled over 1,000-ft in the sky! It was awesome! "The Helix Rocket."

This 9:40 happens in Colorado as well, going through the Eisenhower tunnel. One time we were going skiing from the Denver area. It was nice, clear and sunny, but as soon as we passed through the tunnel, it wasn’t snowing, there was a full on blizzard over there. So crazy that if we had turned back, in a matter of a minute, we would have been in beautiful blue skies again lol

9:40 something similar happened to us in Lower Austria a few years ago. We have just crossed a bridge of the Danube River near Krems and then drove a road uphill directed north. The higher we got the thicker the fog became. I was just seconds away from turning on the rear fog light (which in Austria is only allowed to turn on when you have 50m or less of sight left) of our car when we suddenly got out of it and were greeted by a blue cloudless sunny sky. 🌄

I would give my entire life just to fly passenger with the Hurricane Hunters in number 2. I absolutely love clouds, but especially storm clouds, and the chance to get to see one full-force, up close and personal?? My god, I would give anything. This would be terrifying, thrilling, and absolutely awe-inspiring.

Holy Christmas! I've been on a small yacht boat that size in the Gulf of Mexico going 40mph and the up/down chop is intense! If he'd have jumped on a down chop, he would not have made that jump! Incredible skill and sea legs!

We were on our way back up to Jersey from a vacation in Wilmington, NC when that tornado cut across us on the 95. Snapped a ton of trees and blocked us for about 2 and a half hours. Crazy since we are from Nevada and never saw a tornado. That trip, we saw two lol.

To 8... on my little island Flores/Açores/Portugal we don't need a tunnel to get the same effect... when the clouds are hanging deep over the western side just cross over the Highlands to the eastern side to have beautiful weather. 😂

@8:05 - If it lands on your house, it’s supposed to be good luck! 😂

I remember that! It was awful! I live in Oklahoma and I lived here then too! Our sky was so foggy with smoke, I hated being outside! I don’t want to even think how bad it was for everyone that was affected by the blow up of Mount St. Helens!! They are in heaven having the time of their lives!!
