David Bowie is literally the only person who could go on after Queen.
  • I love how he takes the time to introduce the whole band, that's the kind of humbleness you don't see in many celebrities.

my dad sold his car to go see david bowie and queen live, traveled with very little money, got shitfaced after the show and passed out outside the venue but if i don't show up after 1am its the end of the world
  • This only man who'd wear a tie to a rock festival, the absolute legend that is David Bowie.

The crowds of the 80s were unmatched

Bowie could make a vast stadium feel as intimate as a tiny club. You always felt he was singing to you. It's charisma at level unknown to most mortals.

I hope all those 72.000 people really understand how lucky they were.

5:22 He stops the music, the crowd applauds and then he starts again powerful. The crowd gets crazy. What a concert, what a time.

Dedicating this to "one of my kids" that just lost their life to Covid-19. She was a nurse and a hero professionally and personally!
  • I was 18 years old when I went to this concert. I am sitting on some guys shoulders to the right of the stage. You can see my bare back and my arms up in the air. He was pointing at me when he was singing this song. This was a magical day. I still have my ticket stub. David Bowie still live on....

It’s hard to describe how much I love Bowie. Legend doesn’t even come close. The greatest, ever.

  • Those were the days, best days of my life. We had the best music, it seemed the best of everything. I feel sorry for anyone who didn’t experience these days.❤

2024, this stands the test of time, the song, the performance, the humility, the fun.... what a performer we have lost.
