Man made in the image of God

I have wondered lately about some scriptures. I know a lot of people try to answer the question of is Jesus God. I know God, The Holy Spirit and Jesus are all One. But does Jesus tell us something about what part of God he is? I find a few scriptures where Jesus talks about The Word. When he tells the people I am the Law of Moses, or when he says I am the word, and In the Beginning there was the word and the word was with God and God was the word. So I've always thought Jesus is the word. Like a part of God that speaks the laws, the way people should treat people and so forth. So actually The Word came to life as Jesus Christ. Jesus was the walking, talking word of God. A part of God that could look upon all humans and our sins and forgive us. I've always heard we can not look at God because he is Holy and Pure but Jesus could. Jesus was the part of God that could look at us and talk to us and give us the word God needs us to hear.
