This is the kind of design that speaks to me. Nothing seems generic, full of personality, but it looks realistic.

Matilda Goad’s living room; that purple, floral, chaise, lounge chair is my favorite. Love her eclectic and yet minimal style. All the homes are an inspiration. Great video!

Just subscribed! To be honest, I don't like her style, I think the only thing I liked about her home was her ceiling in the kitchen that matches the clock ❤

Yes, keep the rugs. It looks like Max uses complimentary colors in his rooms. Love all the British designers. I am over scalloped things but agree with the love of primary colors. Can't wait to see more videos.

I like these houses too and am very curious about your home now. Love the video

Honestly, I had a large rug in my living room, and then my dog pooped all over it, so I took it out for a year because I was training him. I missed it the whole time. Last Christmas, I bought a new beautiful rug, now that he's fully trained, and I am super happy to have a rug back in the living room again! If I didn't have carpet in my 2 bedrooms, I'd absolutely have rugs in them, too, lol.

I really enjoyed your video. This is my first time hearing about Beata, but what got me most was how nicely you talk about their styles.

If you like this style I recommend viewing the video for 8 Holland Street in Bath (if you haven't already seen it). I feel this style is a trend right now espcially in Britain with our Victorian era homes. If you look at photos of Victorian interiors you'll see what I mean. This is what it most reminds me of especially Max's home - yes it's curated but it's too 'heavy' for my liking. Which is not to say that it would look out of place in the US/North America - it's just that the US has it's own tradition of building homes too. For example I love Spanish era/looking homes. Ok so that's my 2 cents worth. Great video and I hope the channel takes off Lindsay! Bravo!

The bed canopy is called a half tester. I just researched them 2 days ago haha!
  • I love everything about this video -- both the content and your commentary! Instant subscribe.
  • thank you for a great video! I also love Beatas interior design. I'm from Sweden so many items and patterns are familiar to me. The kids chair that you like so much is called Tripp Trapp (Stokke is the company that makes them) and comes in a varaity of colours and functions😊
  • @Lacoux
The stool is called a Stokke Trip Trap if you were curious.
  • @kristin7762
I’m 2 minutes in and already subscribed 😂 Would love a list of the designers’/homeowners’ names or links to the actual house tours. And of course, a tour of your house just based on what I see behind you.
  • My goodness I saw you in my feed and I subscribed❤ blessings for your channel to grow❤ me and Otis🐶 Massachusetts
  • @otMAMAzaMAMA
Hej! Also subscribed 3 minutes in! Thanks for your content! The stool for the baby is called Tripp Trapp by Stokke and they claim it can be used from grown ups too and it is true, I have seated in such as I visited other families around:) Greetings!

No rugs in the dinning room is practical cause it could get messy fast.
  • @toyaJM
I think the main thing we lack in the US when it comes to design is color/pattern. For some reason we believe that grey/white/beige reads as rich when in fact it’s reads flat even if you use the trick of varying textures it’s boring lol.
