Super Mario Party Jamboree - Reveal Trailer (Nintendo Direct)

Looks like they fixed the board design. This looks great!

Toad and Toadette are playable again. Yes! Bowser is a fully playable character again. Nice! Looks like Spike and Ninji are here too. Coupled with the bigger boards (including returning ones from Mario Party 1 and 2), this looks to be a worthy sequel to Super Mario Party. Exciting!!

As much as I love Western Land, a bit bummed 3 got shafted again since it only had 1 board in Superstars. 8 boards would've made this an absolute package, but 7 is still pretty good and sure as hell way better than 5. Looks like they're taking the retro course idea from MK and implementing it into MP which is a pretty good idea for an easy content bump, but I hope they start touching the later titles soon because most MP1 boards specifically are pretty bland/boring (Rainbow Castle being chief among them besides maybe DK, god like music though).

I hope the currently missing characters from Super are still accounted for - particularly Diddy Kong, who we don’t see. I suspect there ARE unlockable characters though, as Super did have 4 if memory serves? So we could have some unlockables there - Ninji must be an unlockable because he’s not in the thumbnail, which appears to be from the intro of the game. I just hope Diddy Kong particularly gets in. As well as Pauline! It’s about time she joined in on the Party now!

I hope some of those mini games are retro ones too!! Maybe no DLC for Mario Party Superstars, but this game should be loaded with content!! Pauline better be here though.

Question 1: Does this only support single joy con, or will it allow handheld mode and pro controller? If the latter, I assume only certain minigames can be played if using regular controllers. Question 2: Are they bringing back ANY minigames from the 1-10 series, or only NEW minigames?
