I like that you occasionally return to older products, given that software amd firmware updates can change a lot about the experience since launch.

Russ, just a quick note, you often mix up WiFi 5 vs WiFi 6, which are version numbers, calling it 5 GHz, which is the frequency of the signal. WiFi 6 still operates at 2.4 and 5 GHz, it just has some other enhancements over WiFi 5.

I've had the g cloud for about 3 months and i use it so much more than my anbernic and retroid pocket 3. It's just so damn comfortable to hold and the battery lasts so long. Use it all the time to stream my PS5 and PC games. I absolutely love it!
  • I just finished building four of these as Christmas presents for my cousins TODAY and used your guides a lot. Such a coincidence to see this video on my feed as I'm wrapping them up and putting them in boxes. Thanks so much for all of your help!

I loved this for the past year thanks for re-visiting - i never knew video out was added!!!!
  • @SuperKeroGaming
This was an amazing review. I was on the fence about getting but after this review I now believe this is a device I would for so many retro JRPGs. You've got a new fan of the channel!

Great to see an updated look! I bought one earlier this year and absolutely love it, mostly for local streaming but some cloud stuff here and there. It's so damn comfortable and it's the only device I own that I don't get some sort of hand cramps after prolonged usage. Video Out update is so wonderful too!
  • @ytmatte
Thanks for the video. It was awesome. I just bought one after a long year of waffling. I haven't used it a lot yet, but so far I'm super impressed.

I got mine for $250 and really love it. It’s fine for cloud and android gaming, but if you take the time to set it up for emulation it can’t be beat in usability. Plays everything I want, with a big screen and a low weight. Nearby Share makes transferring files to internal storage a breeze, and with the new USB C update I plan on getting a dock and consolizing it. I can’t wait!
  • @WMARUoriginal
Wow what timing, it’s on sale refurbished for $180 in the US. Finally picked one up!
  • @kwill1000
Bought this about 8 months ago and I still love this thing. Honestly for what I use it for it’s my favorite handheld

I'm not in the cloud gaming handheld market personally, but with not really being known for this type of device and the retrospective of other cloud devices being recently released. Its worth saying Logitech really did well on this product and deserve some props.

Having tried three different units myself, I can definitely say the effectiveness of the d-pad diagonals vary per unit.

The G Cloud was my favorite purchase this year. Looking at the Xbox and PlayStation wrapups this past week made me realize the majority of my gaming this year was on that device. I just now picked up a Steam Deck and gave the G Cloud to my brother so he can experience how great it can be
  • @memaimu
I liked the thumbnail choice. Glad to know you're also in on this, haha!
  • @PDot585
Finally some love for G Cloud! I miss mine sometimes, gave it to my son as an early Christmas present when I bought a ROG Ally on black Friday. The custom background update was needed as well. If you could take the Ally Chip put it in the G Cloud with exactly the same UI plus windows games, that's my dream device!
  • @GamerPlaypen
Just got the G Cloud a few weeks ago, I can not put this device down. It's perfect for just throwing in my bag and playing on the go. I was underwhelmed by the Powkiddy x55 and this really was the perfect replacement. Even with the hiccups, emulation for GameCube PS2 and Switch work well enough for me to enjoy. Great video
  • @GloblSocialite
I have about a dozen of these devices and the G Cloud is my favorite. Mostly because of the flexibility. Everything mentioned in this vid, PLUS...a ton of of music and videos too. When I hop on a plane or train, this is the first thing I grab. 1 tb microsd and you are set for days.
  • @PassiveCarrot
I am so happy that you made this video! A lot of these have been reduced in price if you buy it used/refurbished. I think they definitely serve a purpose. Another great video!
