As somebody in MW2 who used an aimbot when I was 12, I can confirm that even for at that age it bored me after two matches. I genuinely don't get what people get out of it. I guess it's the same thing like it is with bullies. They have no control over anything in their life, so they use cheats to gain a sense of power somewhere.

EA can push a new battle pass rework, but REFUSES to do ANYTHING for the amount of cheaters roaming around the game

It’s not just apex , it’s EVERY online FPS game I’ve switched to co op , solo games only and haven’t ever been happier as a 39 year old gamer .

Apex would be fun if they didn't design it for Smurfs and Hackers. Literally every match I play has a champion under level 100 with a twenty bomb.

We need the Dark Souls solution. Don't ban cheaters, because they'll just make a new account, put into a separate queue pool with other cheaters.

In master lobbies, I get a cheater or two every hour. Stack that on top of the shitty servers, the random “persistence transfer errors” and you just have a miserable time.

The fact that there is a large market for hacks and scripts is a sighn of a larger societal problem.

I was in discord with some of my buddies who still play everyday and they were literally judging people on how well they can use their cheats because that's how often they run into cheaters.

After Destroyer2009 literally nuked an ALGS match-day did anyone actually think we were getting Apex back from hackers?? C'mon now.

I learned my lesson years ago in og mw2. Cheating was real bad. Gave up on competitive online gaming way back then. My mental health thanks me.

I had 5000 hours in Apex and walked away last Fall. Everyone was using macros to basically be unhittable and then they'd never miss because yay aim assist. Im now in my post competitive shooter era and it's been a lot of fun. I'll miss content creators like you and ragtagg though, you always do a great job.
