This is one of two songs she sang quite a few years ago while she was a guest DJ on Wish. She is famous throughout Asia known as Asia's Phoenix. She is now 27 and is considered the best female singer in the Philippines. She is from Cebu and therefore was educated primarily in English and so her English accent is primarily American. She sings mostly in English and Tagalog, but she has recorded songs in Bisaya, the native language of Cebu, and Korean. At the time of this performance her voice was measured at 5 octaves plus four notes, but many years later she has stretched both her high range and low range as she matures. She has quite a catalog of recordings, but she is considered an ultimate live performer. Her wish bus performances are epic and she still appears often on the radio station Wish 107.5 that helped make her famous on YouTube worldwide. Her last Signature EP 2021 charted high in the US and throughout many countries in Europe and Asia.

You've identified what's known as the Mori squeak. It's the vocal break heard around the world. It's sort of an instantaneous access to whistle register and no one does it like her. I believe this performance is what made both her and the Wish Bus You Tube sensations.

These are the five originals Morissette wrote herself - during the forced break of the pandemic, helped by her now husband then fiancee Dave Lamar who is a singer and songwriter: Trophy, Mjrror, Phoenix, Will You Stay, Love You Still. There are music videos, Wish Bus versions, live band versions and especially good are the RX 93.1 Monster radio versions that played live from her living room during the pandemic. If you want to see how she cultivated her mastery during the pandemic, check out her accoustic version of Rise Up, her cover of Mariah Carey's Fly Like A Bird and finally her mashup of Moon River and Usahay - the latter being a classic love song from her part of the Philippines. Post-pandemic power performances are the dance video of Undangon Ta Ni, a song written for her in her native Cebuano language, the Mitsubishi rock medley during an auto show, Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw band and Wish Bus versions, Pero Atik Ra and Bruno Mars medley. Her quieter stuff recently was Color Everywhere which has a nice music video and "So Close" with the band Sponge Cola - this proves she doesn't always need to show her power. She has a recent power duet with Jona performed at ASAP Milano which was on Sept. 10th. Other than that she recently performed privately at a gay wedding near London, is working on an LP coming out next year, a musical movie where she plays a music teacher is in the works - "Song of the Fireflies" whose theme song "Alitaptap" will be on her LP, and she has several concerts coming up, two with other artists including one with KZ Tandingan who is great in a similar but different way, one solo concert in Sydney on December 9th. There are also her recent songs with her husband Dave Lamar as the duo "From The Sea" (derived from La Mar)..

Most Filipino Artist Singer’s can Sing Foreign Songs even though English is our second language & they CAN SING PERFECTLY as well as Italian & Spanish Songs too! And besides Italian & Spanish languages they’re similarities to pronounce ‘’VOWELS,’’ of our National Language Tagalog.😮

She does not need them, autotune or other digital smart, as many others do on youtube, making videos and then making believe to sing live. She is a natural generational talent.
