AC Mirage gameplay actually looks like Assassin's Creed

You know it's sad when the fans of assassin's creed are excited about assassin's being in the game

As long as it has a good story that isn’t repetitive and actually includes assassin missions like sneaking around and assassinating one target and moving more on foot than horse im happy, especially if it’s a mix of the old games and the new ones

I’m very curious how the combat will be, I always thought the post rpg era type combat should resemble ghost of Tsushima, I think it would benefit the series moving forward.

To me, the parkour looked almost exactly like Valhalla. We've been burned too many times and everytime its like "finally the series is going back to its roots". I'll beleive it when i see it. For now i am still not sure

I haven’t played an AC game since AC Unity so I’m excited to see that they are going back to the roots.

One thing I'd do as a Dev on this game, which I think would be perfect: Bring back some of the original audio files from AC1. The flags you'd find The bells When successfully escaped The dove noises Completing mission memories The 'fast-forwarding memory to a more recent one' noise The notoriety indication noise, etc. Just a lot of these little things. A salute to the OG fans of the series—and serious nostalgia trip.

Now that you bring up disarming enemies, that was definitely a mechanic that helped make Ezio feel awesome. Would’ve been cool to see that feature come back, but that seems like a tall order for a budget game and a system where countering isn’t really a thing.

I still have a lot of doubts about this game, but it still has my interest being in a city is a good start, but what's most important i feel is the enemy placement, because in Valhalla most enemies were in the open so it made stealthing through a map impossible, so what i want to know is am i going to be doing jump assassinations,hiding assassinations, and corner assassinations or am i going to have to stand in a bush for 5 minutes whistling to get enemies attention to clear out the base?

100% worst part of Valhalla was that Eivor was asked to join the brotherhood at least three separate times and never joined. And before anyone says that it wouldn't have made sense if she did it's supposed to be an Assassin's Creed game so write a better story that's about an assassin. It could've been about the conflict between being both a viking and part of the assassins and keeping that conflict a secret from the rest of the Raven Clan.

Never played an AC but after watching your video ranking all the games with Valhalla coming in last, I'm happy for you guys

One thing i really hope to see that NO ONe is talking about is Social stealth within crowds. The crowds here appear to be more dense than valhalla but i really hope we can blend amongst a group of 3+ people

This game being expanded from a planned DLC to a larger title is such an important thing to remember. Still very excited for a blend of classic AC in the new template

I’ve loved odyssey and Valhalla but I think they should be their own IP, this is what I want from AC, and it looks great

AC3 was the first one I played but origins made me really enjoy it because of the world, main character and enjoyed the story overall of origins. Just wish the combat had been better in origins

Maybe im alone in this but i loved the assassins creed set during the french revolution, it had whack controls but i felt like it had real difficulty and made me fall in love with what i feel AC is meant to bring in a game , badass city , a cloaked assassin , sneaky thought out plans of action, the next one i played was the one set in the Industrial Revolution with the brother and sister and that one was definitely a change but I still had a lot of fun with it although it was a short game with a weak ending, since then ive just given up on the creed lineup , hopefully this one changes that

What would make this game perfect is if it has a lethal hidden blade, Unity like Parkour, a dense immersive open world, and if it in some way has either coop or multiplayer modes like Unity or Brotherhood. AC Multiplayer created its own genre and I'd love to see it return with this new movement and quick methodical takedowns again. This would be the first AC game I have bought since Unity, so I have my fingers crossed launch day is promising.

About social stealth! It will be making a return, similar to Assassins creed 3 you will have about 4 notoriety levels that progress naturally until guards are actively searching for you on roofs and maybe bounty hunters will come after you, that you can bribe officials or remove wanted posters to deter. 🎉🎉🎉 This was rumoured/leaked so take with grain of salt, I also heard social blending will return by being able to hire 2nd party factions like courtesans and such!
