she portraits perfectly the pain that you feel when the person you love and you're with, still loves someone else. It kills you.

forgot how good this is. stopped listening to paloma about 6 years ago because Paloma was the spitting double of my ex at the time and felt alittle bit too painful too watch or listen too. now 6 years later i accidently come across this again and its like listening too it for the first time. absolutely adore Paloma's first two albums. what a voice and truly stunning
  • This song used to break me. When me and my ex partner got together he was separated from his wife. He kept pictures of their wedding day on his phone for the first 7/8 months we were together. I always felt not good enough and like there was three of us in the relationship. Little did I realise.. in truth he didn’t deserve me from day one. It’s nice to listen to this without that feeling 👍🏻

Can't believe I'm just hearing this song for the first time! This is beautiful!

How many times have we felt what Paloma's voice so emotionally conveys. Paloma shouts for those of us not willing or able to say what needs to be said. Art and music with meaning.

That ending with Paloma (or "the other woman") melting/turning to wax is absolutely stunning. True cinematic imagery. She's extremely talented and incredibly underrated. I am in awe of her vision.
  • I discovered Paloma this evening while listening to BBC Radio 2. Her singing Make Your Own Kind of Music blew me away! I love her. I am now a fan! She must come to Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The world needs more talented and awesome singers like her 💗

I used to listen to this song so much. I always found myself writing letters to a friend of mine 600 miles away. We spoke about our hopes and dreams. At the time, I was in the middle of a relationship where my then-partner was pretty much absent. That friend I wrote is now my love. We've been together for 9 years now. He helped me pick up all the pieces.

7 years later and i'm still coming back to this song

This woman is brilliant and yet so underrated. I've been listening to her for the last 4 years and still can't believe she isn't on Adele or Sam Smiths level when it comes to fame. How upsetting. ):
  • Once again I'm doing it again 7yr later and I will be still here when they leave behind the great heart
  • I love everything about this woman, her style, art, voice, everything.
  • @violator9
Beautiful, haunting and probably the best song by a UK artist over the last 20 years.
  • @JohnjoTaft09
This song is ridiculously underrated. So overlooked! It's a huge shame coz it's absolutely stunning. The video is also one of the absolute best videos in the last decade or so. PERFECT.

Possibly the most astoundingly beautiful music video ever filmed.
