What If Qui Gon Jinn Survived?

Although Kenobi was a good mentor, I think Qui-Gon was the mentor Anakin truly needed.

I wish we got more of Qui Gon in the prequels. He was such a good character and would have been a great father figure to Anakin. Love the video!!!!

I truly think Palpatine himself would deal with Qui Gon like how he dealt with Maul. Qui Gon was too big of a threat for Palpatine

I can easily imagine how things would have changed if he survived and trained Anakin. I've read so many fanfics about this. Qui-Gon was a father figure to Anakin and that could have made a considerable difference as he knows what it means to love and lose after losing the girl he loved. . .Tahl (she was another Jedi who died tragically.) Jedi Apprentice showed this . .including just how close Qui-Gon turned permanently to the Dark Side. I love what ifs because of the changes it would make to the entire storyline.

Qui Gon would of been the perfect master. I feel like Anakin would be the absolute god he is portrayed on Mortis if Qui Gon trained him as he would reach his full potential. If Prime Luke can pull a black hole, imagine what FP Anakin would be able to do.

I wonder if it would be a viable option; have Qui Gon fake his own death (with the council/Anakin knowing) so that Palpatine could make his move on Anakin and catch him in a trap that way. I don't think with all the skill Sidious had of lying and hiding his force powers that even if the whole council were to focus on him, they likely wouldn't see the dark side or detect him lying

Nice video, I like this scenario! Dave FIlioni said in an interview once that "the duel of the fates" was a duel for Anakin's fate. And that Qui Gon was the father figure Anakin would have needed to turn out "good". I also think that with Qui Gon, Anakin would not become so close to Palpatine as he is in the actual timeline. He is not dissatisfied with his jedi master, so he is not so open to other mentor-figures outside the jedi order. I like your addition of Count Dooku not siding with Sidious in this timeline. It makes sense as his relationship with Qui Gon was so strong, his survival would probably impact Dooku a lot. And with the whole clone army not falling under Sith control, there goes order 66 out the window lol

Qui gon has always been one of my favourite characters and I really liked this.

Qui gon is an awesome character, I would have loved to have a movie or a Disney+ show of his youth. Insane video as always.

The voice acting on these videos is phenomenal. They are very convincing. I do wish these videos were longer. They often grab my attention and then, BAM, it’s over.
