It's pretty cool you got an XL with the 2.0 ecoboost and all wheel drive. I didn't even know you could do that!

With the Cubby Grid it is important that you don’t use a mounting setup that’s too shallow. The mount you are using seems to be a unique setup for a pop socket which is very uncommon. If you used a regular, readily available phone holder similar to your other one with the Cubby Grid it naturally sticks out past that button. Also, with the Cubby Grid it doesn’t block your view in anyway.

I had one of those in my Transit connect. It was a great mount. It’s good to know it will stick there. I thought it had to be glass for it to stick. Also good to know the cubby thing doesn’t work.

Almost seems like you have a personal issue with the cubbies grid. The second product you have doesn’t help the issue of there being a random cubby that I want to fill. Cubby grid fills the space perfect

Strange that you deleted my other comment.. your pop socket mount is the problem and you wrongfully blame the Cubby Grid.. you even say it at 1:38… not a very balanced “review” unless you use a similar mount on the Cubby Grid!
