We should be preserving our history and it's abandoned structures
  • @tamarawalker8973

In the early 2000's I worked for UCR nature reservation Amboy was the last stop to get supplies. I really enjoy going to Amboy
  • I wonder if Disney’s Cars movies were based on Amboy? I saw Radiator Springs all over!

That lady historian Kenya is so easy to listen to. I hope she does more interviews.

I Would ❤ To Be A Mechanic In Those Times 😊 Cars Were Super Easy To Work On. Nowadays Cars Have So Many Sensors😢

In the 1970's a friend and I were driving thru Arizona, Texas etc & checked our map and decided to stop at a town midway to our destination for gas & a snack. What a shock ! Turned out to be a rundown ruin gas station & nothing else. We managed to coast in to a distant town on the smell of an oily rag, as the saying goes. 😧🏜️

Watching this documentary was like exploring a ghost town - empty, eerie, and left me feeling lost...but hey, at least it put me to sleep faster than counting sheep!

Incredible work Albert, Thank You for protecting the past
  • To the executives in producers of the show, I just want to offer my praise for the high quality of your production. And this is a wonderful topic to cover. For 11 years, I traveled all over this country of ours as an insurance adjuster working catastrophic storms. I’m an artist and a photographer so after my assignment, I would travel, lonely Roads and visit abandon buildings and cemeteries, and I’ve learned some very fascinating things about our disposable history. Allow me to say it again. This is an excellent topic and you’ve done a magnificent job of covering it. Thank you.

It should be reopened. The money could be what saves it for history

So amboy inspired radiator springs in cars right?

Lightning McQueen saves Radiator Springs again!!

Governments allowing buildings to just stand and collapse with time is crazy to me. Either you make use of it or you remove it so nature can be free of all the junk

i wander what happened to the poor people who had homes and businesses there, and in other abandoned places. It's not like you can SELL UP and move in. It is a huge loss. Does the government compensate these people or just leave them to start again.
