  • I love that Papyrus is filling the role of Santa Claus after Asgore, I can absolutely see him doing that

This is what I'd call a truly Canon adaptation of sans (except the fact of remembering resets?) One thing that has bothered me is the fact most sanses have either personalitys. "Funny Guy" and "Depressed". This feels like a perfect mix of both. After the neutral run it makes sense on why he'd be mad in a way and then after a reset he seems much more happier and is joking again. But soon it ended in disaster and I think the part with sans dying was perfect. 10/10 animation!
  • I was hoping it would be this song, but in all honesty this hits hard. we can see how much pain the singer and sans feels deep down inside, can't imagine how it feels to live the same day. Every. Day. It's quite sad...really.
  • The story of the whole game is told in 3 minutes, the author, your drawing is very cool, I wish you to continue to develop in the same spirit :3

I like how Frisk is depicted here, the appearance actually, not the storytelling. The black and spiky hair with the unemotional expression really puts genocide in it's place.

God, I've been following the undertale almost since its inception. I've seen a million animations and art. But damn, your animations and art are absolutely the BEST I've seen. I can't explain how happy I am when I watch this. You convey all the emotions of the characters so accurately.. And the drawing skills are VERY amazing. I love you very much. Thank you!

Intentional or not, I find it very fitting that Frisk/Chara/Player is referred to as “God” They have the power to change the world to their own will Sans sings hoping that they return, as many times as it takes until they can have the happy end everyone wishes, even if it all ends in misery a number of times
  • @HerooftheWind

I will never get over how much love and passion and creativity people have for this little game. It's been 7 years and the love just doesn't stop. That is something incredible.

    アテ宗さんが描くサンズくん細かいところまで書き込まれていてほんと大好きです…!!!
  • 2:13-2:15 This...this is the one that hurts me the most... Frisk spares toriel...but in doing so, they hurt her more than in any way I could imagine possible. Can you imagine her mindset? Knowing that she let that child out of kindness only for them to massacre every monster they've come across. This frame...she knew what is going to happen. Sans will be forced to break his promise and she couldn't even blame him for it. The outcome would be either her friend will die or the child which she had grown to care about will.

  • Great story telling from San's perspective showing the aftermath of a N run to his death in the G run. We start off with him trying to call someone, likely Frisk, but no one seems to answer so he leaves a message (the one we see at the end of every N run). Then we get a small flashback to where they found Asgore's trident in the flower field, the aftermath of him dying to either the protagonist or flowey. We see that the underground continues to move along even without their king as Undyne is crowned the next ruler. Sans supposedly doesn't talk with Undyne much after she got crowned ruler as the line 'we haven't talked in a while' appears in the shot where the both of them are present. This could, however, also be interpreted as Sans explaining what has happened in the underground to Toriel. He hasn't been able to talk with Toriel in a while since he's been helping Undyne rule the underground as a sort of assistant, and the one time he does come to have a chat is when he needs to ask for a favor which is why he apologizes. That favor is for Toriel to return to her throne and rule the Underground as all the monsters need a savior which indicates that Undyne is still having trouble as the new ruler (likely due to her being inexperienced). I think this is the more likely interpretation. We see how the underground has changed slightly with the scene of Christmas being celebrated. Asgore used to play the role of Santa but, with him now gone, Papyrus takes up the mantle and greets the children who are just excited to see Santa. The picture of Chara that Sans finds could be a sign that Frisk is about to reset the timeline for a G run, or it could mean that this N run takes place after another G run being reset. I personally feel that it's the prior based off a later scene. Then the timeline resets. Sans realizes this and goes to talk with Toriel as he usually does but we can see he's in a slightly better mood with the responsibilities of assisting a new ruler being taken off his shoulders. He enjoys his free time until Frisk shows up but when he greets the human child, they don't respond as they usually do, only smiling which confuses Sans. This could be a hint that there was no G run before the N run since Sans would've likely noticed the beginnings of a G run if he already experienced it once before. As Frisk/Chara goes around killing the residents of the Underground, Sans slowly starts to realize what's happening but pretends not to notice. This could be due to him having hope in the human or it could just be due to the promise he made with Toriel. Possibly a combination of both. We know Sans already realized what's happening due to this scene 1:49 where he stares down Frisk when they walk past with the line 'that fake-ass walking 'round in Sunday's best' and 'the worst people are the first to forget'. Papyrus also probably realizes what is happening as he's the one who is shown to bury the remains of the monsters with Sans comforting his brother. Papyrus confronts the human in his hopes that they will be able to change but is brutally murdered with Sans finding the remains of his brother. He was most likely out of town to inform Alphys just in case things don't go well but returned too late. After that he chases after the human and runs into monster kid who tells him about Undyne but is too late to save her as well. He remembers his promise with Toriel and figures that she was probably killed as well. Finally we get to the Last Corridor. Sans asks Frisk where they were and what they've been doing before he judges them on their actions. We're shown a scene of Sans, Papyrus and Undyne standing together. Papyrus is killed off first followed by Undyne, leaving only Sans. Then Sans turns to the figure of Toriel, likely his commitment to try and keep his promise with her. This shows that at that point, Sans had no hope for the human but didn't kill them immediately as he was clinging desperately to his promise with Toriel, hoping that what he did, allowing Papyrus and Undyne as well as other innocent monsters to die, wasn't all in vain. The final fight against the human, while it was judgement on the human, it was also a judgement on himself for allowing everything to happen the way it did. In the end, he is ultimately defeated by the human and in his last moments, he sees his brother waiting for him. Then the timeline resets once more as Chara's iconic face is shown flashing on Sans' phone.
