Josh Peck Says HE LIED ABOUT DAN SCHNEIDER Following 'Quiet On Set' Backlash

After the premiere of the "Quiet On Set" docuseries and the emergence of an old clip where Josh Peck defended Dan Schneider, Josh faced a wave of backlash. Observers noted that Josh had not publicly addressed the allegations against Schneider after the docuseries aired, nor had he shown support for Drake Bell. This silence was particularly noticeable as the revelations in the docuseries would have been new information to him regarding what Bell had endured.

In the face of mounting expectation for him to speak out, Josh Peck has now issued a statement regarding the A B allegations made by Drake Bell in "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV."

Josh Peck and Drake Bell were co-stars on the Nickelodeon series "Drake & Josh" from 2004 to 2007. In the documentary, Bell shared his experience of being S A by dialogue and acting coach Brian Peck (who is not related to Josh), who was involved with "All That" and "The Amanda Show" during the late '90s and early 2000s.

Josh Peck, on Instagram, shared his reaction to the "Quiet On Set" documentary, stating, "I finished the 'Quiet On Set' documentary and took a few days to process it. I reached out to Drake privately, but want to give my support for the survivors who were brave enough to share their stories of emotional and physical A B on Nickelodeon sets with the world. Children should be protected. Reliving this publicly is incredibly difficult, but I hope it can bring healing for the victims and their families as well as necessary change to our industry."

Josh is a clear backstabber. He's like that coworker that acts like they're your friend, but when the manager steps in the room they throw you under the bus first chance they get. Ratting you out saying what you haven't done and talking badly about you to make themselves seem like a better person. You can tell he's phony and fake
  • @Sorvea
Jeannette wrote in her book stating she turned down a hearty sum of “Hush Money”.
  • Now we know about Nickelodeon but now I wonder what kind of abuse ever happened with the Disney stars?

Josh has always felt really fake since he came back into the spotlight. He's got this weird phony visage that seems like he wants to be liked too much. He's also always ON and has a super outgoing and sort of high-speed vibe that almost feels like the result of some substance (I could definitely be wrong, but I've seen it before when anti-depressants are casually mixed with recreational substances). On the opposite end, I feel like the actual likable people, such as Drake and Jenette, have a very calm and reserved demeaner. They feel real.

So Josh is essentially saying he willingly was an accessory to their behavior. Dude gives off major "nice guy" vibes.
  • @SAMEntalhealth
Screw Josh he's flip-flopping so much first he lies about not seeing Drake and all of that even though there was podcasts then he says dan did nothing wrong in his end now he's saying Nickelodeon paid them off because people hate him for saying that Schneider did nothing wrong like make up your mind dude

    I can’t look at Josh Peck anymore…..
  • I think many On the Set were Molested for years! Even at Disney. Wherever Peck was located, he was doing bad things to kids! Most will never come out & take a chance on ruining their careers. I'm a victim & I'm a no-body. I never told anyone (besides my parents right after it happened when I was 8 in 1978) My Wife, Kids & best friends never knew. That 52yr old "Illegal Immigrant" did bad things to me at our local baseball park bathroom. My Dad caught him molesting my Best Friend just as the Police arrived & they talked my Dad down from shooting him with his .357mag pistol! Luckily they let my Dad go & this immigrant was a 3 Time Offender! How can this happen? He was killed in the TX Prison System a year later! This stuff stays with the victim forever! I can still smell him, the bathroom, everything & I'm 53 now!
  • The ones who have adult careers took hush money and signed the NDA.
  • @hunterjones3342
Can’t believe the home of Blue’s Clues, Dora, and SpongeBob would pay hush money smh.

I hate these videos when they add way too much pointless information. Get to the point. Skipped and found another video
  • @GhostLyricist
Josh will always be envious of Drake. Drake grew up as the heartthrob of America, and Josh was just the slapstick funny fat guy. Josh has crazy insecurities issues, I've seen the same thing happen to a lot of overweight people who changed their life around. They either go on an ego trip or can't get past their previous envious feelings.
  • @ALKreinbrink
Where in this video did Josh peck admitted to being paid to stay quiet? really dumb title.
  • @mayflower7811
I am telling you Dan Schinder and Nickelodeon were blackmailing and threatening Josh to take their said over Drake Bell's and Jeanette Mercudy's. IK, it's a stretch, but given everything that Dan and Nickelodeon have done, nothing is impossible. Guess what we're about to hear even more because there is going to be a part 5 and 6 of Quite On Set coming out on April 7th, which is next week
  • Crazy how josh would turn his back on drake like that yet drake is still defending him drake always been the real friend.
  • WHAAAAAAAAT?! Every day is turning into a season finale cliffhanger with these people.

In most of these instances, you can see that Dan Schneider/ Brian Peck and others kind of picked a kid or a couple of kids as "targets" for their abuse and deliberately played favorites or at least played nice to other kids on the same show. That way the kid being abused is further isolated and shamed because it makes them feel like there's something wrong with *THEM* and also makes it harder for them to feel like theyd be believed when they come forward because their costars who werent being abused would defend the abuser. I'd extend some grace to the kids who havent spoken out - the Josh Pecks, the Ariana Grandes, etc. We dont know what they were put through, if they were threatened into silence, if they were lied to/manipulated or suffered abuse themselves. Even if they didnt, it cant be an easy thing to have a huge chunk of your career and childhood turned upside down and inside out and realizing that the people around you were monsters who were tormenting your friends. Lets also keep in mind that victims of abuse can in turn become perpetrators of abuse (in the case of Drake Bell) - the abuse he suffered does not excuse what he did, but at least gives some insight as to how he got to the point of being an abuser himself.
  • @DngrDan
Ok. I don't need the whole fucking history of Dan Schneider from 1999 onward.
  • @gabby3406
When was the part where Josh Peck admits he was paid to be quiet? I must've missed it.
