  • Great to see a couple sticking together. This is what real love and commitment means. Good for you.

I was a trucker in the USA, lived in the truck sleeper, I got so comfortable with that when I did get home I'd pull in the driveway and go to bed in the truck!
  • The thing I like most about this video is how your marriage is flourishing despite so many challenges, it is so beautiful.
  • When I watched Ame's video building out her van, I knew she was the real deal. You raised an amazing human being.

Thank you so much! My wife and have reached tipping point. We realistically cannot afford to keep up the mortgage anymore l, plus we don’t really like where we live. Lack of money and working ourselves to the bone has also led to cracks in our relationship. Watching Ame, you and others has pushed us to decide to sell up. Convert a van, see some of the world. Also try and find a plot of rural land as a base for off grid living. Wish us luck! Might get to shake your hand on the road one day 👍🏼
  • I am so sorry. I lost my mom in 2019 and I miss her so much. Life just isn't the same without our moms. Ame is blessed to have you both. ❤love from Texas
  • ❤🎉A beautiful life in France can be lived in a house or van, whatever! Just enjoy...🎉 FREEDOM. YES!❤

  • I lost muv a year ago. I still can't believe she had to leave me. She was my best friend. I have no more family now, but I have my lovely little dog. I wish you the best. 🤧😊

  • My mother saw my father killed in an accident, developed dementia, and then had a massive stroke… which took her life. I am glad that you were able to spend that time with her, as I did with my mother, and those memories (and the knowledge that you did all that you could for her) are priceless. God bless you two as you navigate this time of life. We never know where life will take us, but I am grateful for my faith in God’s plan in the big picture. Thank you for sharing your story. Blessings to you both! 😊❤

Thanks for sharing and being brutally honest, when you didn't need to be. More power to you all.

I hope Charlotte feels closer to her mum now that you all are living in France, and it helps you all through the healing process; you're such a lovely family. The learning process you've undergone during the past 18 months really puts you at an advantage over those of us who haven't ever done van life - even if you later decide to move back into a regular house, you'll never need to worry about being homeless or getting stuck in one place paying high rents, because with your van you will always have a place to live, and the skills to live well! ❤

We adore you and Ame. No matter why, we enjoy what you all do. Stay safe on your journey in France and everywhere else you choose to go. 🙏 ❤❤❤

Everyone out there, use every chance to spend time with your parents. Your time with them is not unlimited and no matter how much time you spend with them, once they're gone you'll regret not spending more time with them regardless. But they'll have you around till the end and that's what matters. ^^ Obviously there are exceptions where connecting with one's parents is just not possible anymore due to personal circumstances, but if you're in good standing with your family, use it to be with them a lot. ❤
