(The egg dream) Yes, Lord! I receive this in the name of Jesus. Amen🙏🏾
  • 2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

you and God. if you want answers, listen to sermons. look up answers. He WILL reveal Himself to you because you will seek Him. i promise you this with my life. I don't just say things like that, so know that I mean it. :) Pray....pray with faith. ask God. :) He is always listening.

He is the Creator and created the laws. Since He is righteous, He doesn't break them. When sin came on the earth, people grew into a new sinful nature, which separated them from God, remember that? But, nothing separates us from Him love. The bible says countless times that the consequence of sin is death, right? But, God loves us SOO much, here we go, John 3:16, that Jesus, the purest and the ultimate sacrifice had to die for us (the consequence). before Jesus, people had to repay their sins

That's good that you have read the Bible so much. I have absolutely fallen in love with the Word. Considering the fact that you read so much, you must totally know what I'm about to say. God never ever ever says He hates anyone. look it up, i promise you won't find it. The reason why God has had to wipe out cities and people is because of sin. You see, God loves us, He loves the sinner. But, He is too pure and holy, so He hates sin. It's a harder concept to understand than say, I admit.

"Consequently, faith comes through hearing the message, and the message is head through the word of Christ." Romans 10:17 Socrates0ne, I say this verse because I see that when you experience doubt, you immediately jump to everything the world encourages you to do: not believe. and when you ask questions, you ask expecting everything to prove your doubts right. that's normal, but i know you are wiser than that. I have an answer for every single thing you said, but I see that this issue is between

And don't worry, it took me a while to understand this, too. God doesn't hate homosexuals and doesn't want anyone to kill. It's just the consequence of sin is death, but when Jesus came, through HIS death, we were saved from the "eye for an eye" rule, if that makes sense. Now we have mercy and grace. All we need to do is repent from our sins and receive the gift of life, isn't that great? we get to say we're sorry and just sink in His love :) Please read the Gospels. I think youll like it :D

I used to be trained to interpret the scriptures that way, too, but the words are pretty clear - God DOES hate some people - so much so that he would have wild dogs rip their pregnant woman open, or drown them, or send flaming balls of fire at them. He hates "all workers of iniquity" (Psalm 5:5) and "the wicked" (Psalm 11:5, Hosea 9:15 ). He talks about six things he hates, including liars (Proverbs 6:16, 19 ). Also, God really hates Esau (Malachi 1:3, Romans 9:13 ). He hates the disobedient.

"Since He is righteous, He doesn't break them. " Ten commandments forbids killing, but he commits mass-murder. He obviously DOES break his own laws. He can do that because he's God, and is immune to any powers of reason and logic, no matter how obvious. So God "loved us" so much that he tortured his innocent son to death so that he could forgive us for the crime of being born, for which we deserve to be tortured as well? How could you trust anything a psychopath like that would tell you?

"let go of your own bias" I do this constantly. My beliefs change constantly and dramatically as I get new information, regardless of what I "want to hear". I know how to identify and reduce or eliminate my own bias. Your accusation that I am biased (implying you are not) is patronizing and hypocritical. It is an insult. You said it because you can't defend your faith, so you declare that you are immune to any argument I can give you while claiming *I* am the closed-minded one. Mathew 7:1-5
  • @Princesa9595
i'm not asking you to imagine anything. I'm asking you to simply let go of your own bias and be open minded for a minute. if you don't want to, it's not my place to judge you. but it's clear to me that when you look for answers, you go to a place that will tell you what you wanna hear. many people do that, it's ok. but you are going to live your whole life never experiencing who God is. i'm not debating with you, for the record. i just wanted you to see what I see. butit was nice to meet you :)
  • @Princesa9595
with death, which is why they sacrificed their purest lambs and best crops, etc. When JESUS came, that no longer had to be the case. but BEFORE jesus, since people didn't do that, they broke the law, and had to suffer. but man, those people in the old testament, not much different from us, were really immoral.. They knew the Word and chose not to follow it... i'm not debating btw, i'm just sharing what I know, just as you are. :)
  • @socrates0ne
You are saying I need a cognitive bias. Yes, if I'm LOOKING for evidence that some imaginary being is talking to me, and I FOCUS on it as if it were true, then sure, I will probably end up perceiving something as validating that perception, because I would be manufacturing a cognitive bias. When you "look" for God, you can see him everywhere, just like people who believe in horoscopes, they see evidence of it's truth everywhere, or people who bought a car will see that car everywhere.
  • @Princesa9595
Sorry to pry, but i just wanna say you've been a bit misinformed. What this Pastor is saying is that although one's intentions might be good, God simply wants you to do what He asked, ya know? Now, when Jesus same, he broke all the need to fulfil the laws that included consequences to make up for the bad things we do. Working on the Sabbath in no longer a sin because every day should be spent focusing on God. I would advise you to read the bible a bit more to understand what he's saying :)
