The 996 is already a classic. With the right spec it is very desirable

Never understood the hate for the 996. One of my good friends recently picked up a C4S and it is so much fun. Love how they look.

I bought a new 996 back in 1999- fantastic car, way better than the competition and big enough for someone my height to fit in. Acceleration, handling and cornering were fantastic
  • I have had porsche 914/993/996 and 997 and by far 996 was my favorite! way ahead of its time

I think even the gen1 996 with the fried eggs is starting to really grow on me. It’s aging really well even without all the kit.

Beautiful car and chemistry between the mates as well. Love the 996.Have a C2.
  • 996 headlights were futuristic when they were made i think they aged well and i love my 996 c2 with the top down!

Very nice video! Nice editing. Nice guest. Sweet car. These cars have a lot to offer. Definitely a modern classic, now.

Excellent video! Loved it! The headlights are what made me want a 996 in the first place. Been 11 years now and still drive almost daily. 996 turbo X50 tuned.

I’ve had three. I cancelled a 997 order to get a 996 Turbo. Very happy

Lets be honest, all 911's become a classic. I love the 996 4S now (hated it back in the day) The curves are so cool, the red strip at the back, all analogue, small and nippy compared the the much bigger 991 & 992. Only let down is the interior. I was going to get one of these, but was lucky enough to get a Cayman R. But I still think about selling and getting a 996 4S with a 3.9lrt engine re-build. Nice.

Great video, I’ve been a 996 owner for tens years and I love mine and you’ve got a new sub , keep up the Porsche vids mate
  • Great to hear tim compare a 996 to an E46 personally i think 911 has the legs on the beamer aswell as what he said about corner speed ... The 996 has been the ugly duckling for years now all of a sudden it grown on the entire motoring press and watch this space " WAIT TO SINGER START BUILDING THEM " ... I think all the Porsche guys are there already and just look at gen1 aeros... rocking the world in general so i say its the 911 of the moment..and think everyone will agree within the next year or two 👌😎
  • Superb car, what a project. Tim’s son has definitely got the coolest dad.
  • @GT380man
Lovely car. I admire the thoughtfulness and art in your choices. Your friendliness shines through as well. Enjoy!
  • @WKBaker4
Hell yea! Especially the 996.1 baby
  • @grattidude
Sick car. Def coming around to 996s especially after seeing Tim's.
