Indonesia is among the most active places on the pacific rim...
  • Not a single time they actually mention what volcano, or atleast what island its on... terrible journalism
  • @juneekaka1289
For those who asked wheres this volcano, it’s Gunung Ruang in Sulawesi Utara
  • Indonesia is a massive country and has thousands of islands. So where was it located?. Did you forget journalism?.
  • @BASSNETIC-MUSIC
WHERE in Indonesia? You have any idea how many Indonesian islands there are?
  • @markeddowes1467
Really are you that geographically challenged these days that you’re incapable of stating which island in Indonesia this is going on ????! !!!! 😮
  • We started having fire tornados a few years back. Why not a Tsucano? In all seriousness though, I feel bad for the people of Indonesia. They get hammered by nature all the time, and there's nowhere for them to go. I'm grateful I live in a place where natural disasters are exceedingly rare. Prayers for Indonesia 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

Remarkably, the eruption of Mt Tambora, in 1815, also in Indonesia, wasn’t mentioned. This was the largest volcano eruption in 1300 years and lowered the average temperature about 1 degree Celsius. This resulted in massive amounts of crop failure and food shortages in the northern hemisphere. Btw, it’s called The Year Without Summer, in 1816, and caused the most massive disruption of agriculture in North America.
  • @macking104
1816- the year without a Summer in New England and parts of Europe was caused by the massive 1815 eruption of Mount Tambora in Indonesia!
  • The 1815 eruption of Mt Tambora caused 1816 to be called the "The Year Without A Summer". Read about it. Volcanos can cause a lot of damage.
  • This is the birth pains of the earth. We are just in the beginning of what’s about to happen.

Remarkably no Australia news channel has covered this. Indonesia is just a few hours away from Australia.
  • @RoxanneM-
I just saw a video from someone in the area. It’s actually a lot more scary than it shows here with a terrible roaring noise that doesn’t stop, the rocks are falling over the houses of the people in the island nearby, and the lightening non stop too.
  • @joe_87
Indonesia is fascinating. Never realized how big a country it was until recently.
  • @kkrenken895
Interesting that he doesn’t mention the year without summer, 1816, caused by a volcanic eruption.

Been amid the Kilauea region & east rift area of Hawaii, Bali around Mt Batur, Cascades, et al, still fascinates & deserves respect for force, power, ... Which island location among the Indonesia archipelago was this? Literrally a volcanic island arc, as the Banda & Sunda Arcs among Pacific Ring of Fire. Definitely origination of seismic hazards. Stay safe
  • @DiniKusuma
They report the news as if Indonesia were only one single land as big as singapore ...
  • Please be more precise on which island the volcano is located. Indonesia has lots of islands so making a detailed report can help your viewers get the picture all together. Like for example, this eruption didn't happen near the capital but on Sulawesi island, which on the east side of Indonesia.
  • @mauryagupta6024
What is the name of the mountain? And in which part of Indonesia? City? Province? Indonesia is vast and home for a lot of volcanoes. It's weird that they aren't more specific in delivering the news.
