I love how shb doesn’t know if Celina is Cabbage or Raspberry when all the kids’ names start with the same letter as the vegetable and the same text color and overall color pallet

the chompettes were always an unknown piece of the story that had obviously played a larger role in the original game. glad to finally get official lore

What's interesting is the fact that you play as raspberry. While there is no conclusive evidence to establish what her role is in the overall story, we do notice that in the original game she was always the most "off" character. They were more aggressive than the others and there was also the "never sneak up on me" thing. While we still don't know what part she has yet to play we can conclude that she is different from the rest of the chompettes in some way. Just something to consider

I’m sure others have noticed, but the names’ starting letters and the colors match who they will become. Celina/Green becomes Cabbage, Oleg/Blue becomes Onion, Bolek/Brown becomes Bread, and our character Ryna/Pink becomes Raspberry. I haven’t seen P/Yellow for Potato yet, but he’ll be here somewhere.

Here's my theory: In the end, after the murderer is killed by the player of the main story, a quote stuck out to me: "Keeping these intruders around...might be entertaining for now..." This quote, among other things makes me believe that the player of the main story was also present in Chompettes Origins. In an attempt to escape from the murderer, they led both the group and the murderer into the house of the player, who was already possessed when this DLC story started. They all stepped into his territory, and so he set out to punish them all for trespassing, effectively finishing the murderer's job for him. That's why the Razael's body found in a barrel of potatoes signifies the murderer being represented by a potato. That is why Razael's Chompette counterpart is nowhere to be found in the main story outside of a secret ending. They all got themselves involved in a curse. That's why Potato is shown to connect with the player better than the other Chompettes or any of the other characters from the main story. The two killers share similar mindsets, but one was able to get the drop on the other.

Have yet to see this said in the comments, but the scene where Ryna puts her hand under the floorboards to touch the bones most likely alluded to there being human bones mixed in with the chicken ones. Feel free to fact check me, but I've read that, if you were to touch a bone and it were to feel dry, it's most likely a human bone since they're porous. So Ryna feeling the bones and some of them feeling moldy while others feel dry is subtly telling us that there are in fact human bones there, but that was probably already guessed considering we know what takes place in the house

I wonder why it didn’t show Ryna running from the killer at the end like the others? She’s just standing there looking bored almost… Weird.

Always remember the smiling vegetables are a lie. Joke aside great to see Cooking Companions get dlc.

The kids drawing of The Entity and the child seated at the table really got my attention since one of my friends used to do a lot of work as a child therapist for children who were victimized in one way or another. He liked to use the children's art as a sign of what they were thinking how they were feeling and the things that had happened to them and white eyes have always been a really bad sign of either the child feeling empty someone seeming like they don't have feelings or something along those lines.

Potato says they used to call him the butcher in the original game insulating that the MC in the main game is not the butcher and probably killed the butcher.

Ok. So, the killer's apprentice kills the killer and the kids. That's why Potato continues to talk to you the way he does. Is your character possessed by the Baba Yaga? I know this is about where the Chompettes came from but I'm still curious about who Turnip is...

The player had food the whole time and they let the group strave anyway. They're much more evil than we thought.

Yes please. Do the new endings, but also do show all the secrets (the nightmare faces of the chompets appear when they are talking/after they finish talking), try the other doors and stuff like that
