  • #1 If your comments are not getting published, it's probably because you got reported so much that YT's algorithm deleted your comment and your account has been flagged. #2 Another possibility is that you were determined to be a bot or spammer by YT. #3 I am pretty tolerant. I have a thick skin. Reward is out to those who can offend me. I don't really mind people badmouthing me, calling me names, using racial slurs or gender slurs (if that even exists), cussing me, insulting me, etc. Do it to your heart's content. You may even email info at asianeac dot com for insults and attacks. I'll even give you a tip. Many email servers won't send emails with cusses and insults so you may want to just send an image. GIFs are especially fun. But when you badmouth or attack other commenters who are polite and sensible, especially if they have been in my channel for a while, I will delete your comment and block you. I have a responsibility to the community I am building. If you want to express your view, be respectful and substantiate your claims. #4 Yes, I do no like her because she keeps on dragging groups who have minor members, including her own, New Jeans. At least Hybe keeps these young women and girls out of their arguments. That being said, I do not "stan" corporations. That's sick and irrational. It's like stanning Procter & Gamble or Blackrock or Johnson & Johnson. Why on earth would I be loyal to corporations? That's next level psycho. I don't even have loyalty to brands. #5 To all those defending Min Heejin. That is good that we are hearing you here and some are very respectful. I welcome that anytime. I Just want to make sure that people get that this video is about MANIPULATION TACTICS or FALLACIES. I used her press conference to point out these tactics so viewers can recognize them when people try to convince them to do something or try to manipulate them or try to win their approval. Recognizing these fallacies/manipulation tactics will help us make better decisions. This video does not in any way say she is guilty or HYBE is good. If I am being honest, I would love for this drama to continue longer because it is entertaining me but there are young women and minors involved. I would love for people to add or clarify things about how people manipulate other people because that is the topic of the video. Other than that, for as long as you are respectful, please go ahead and discuss.

I completely agree with you! She knew exactly what she was doing when she came out looking and acting like this. This might not work in other countries, but in Korea this was a classic perfect performance. Thank you for breaking it down.

Min Hee Jin is an expert at visuals and branding, yet she, a millionaire CEO, goes to a press conference looking like a college student who's just failed their finals. That's an excellent way to sway the emotions of those who want to vilify Hybe and Bang Si Hyuk. She should have been an actress, because her acting skills are on point. It's unbelievable how some people are so good at manipulation.
  • “Why haven’t you returned the laptop?” You have succinctly summarized Min Heejin’s strategy💜

I agree with this analysis. As a retired therapist, I have seen these tactics played out many times. I’ve even seen it in my own family. Usually when they have been caught doing something shady and are struggling to save themselves. Believe me, if she had enough sense to put this plot together, she has enough sense to manipulate people.

I can't believe netizens fell for it even though she was bad at acting. She was dressed and had no makeup on to gain sympathy, which was copied from dramas that I watched. She cried with no tear the whole time, and she made sure to lift her hat so others can see. Those people who believe her forget what she does for living.

I saw someone who tried to fool the public, and I don't even know her. I could tell immediately she was acting because her specialty is branding for the groups.

One of the thing that HYBE is so consistent even when they were in fight with SM and Kakao is that they answer and address the public in a professional way. In a way that they really don't care if you're on their side or not. They do things legally (with evidence of course)... And with this issue yes they may be on the disadvantage with the public opinion but in the end if Miss Min is proven guilty in the Court then that's all they really care about.

Full disclosure- I don’t speak or read Korean. I did not buy Min’s press conference performance at all. Her body language and behaviour spoke volumes and then to find out she is the highest paid officer in the conglomerate. I feel sorry for her lawyers. However, I have come across people like this before, playing the victim card when it suits, narcissistic, gaslighting. I predict that someday she or this situation will be used for case analysis, if it isn’t already.
  • I was reading translations on Twitter and seeing some ppl’s reaction to it and felt like I was losing my mind at ppl who were falling for her act. Like it is so painfully obvious how manipulative she is, the second someone says something like “as if it’s okay for me to kms”, specially in a context like this….it’s so obvious. You are a grown ass successful business woman, act like it. Idk anything names of manipulation tactics but she leaned heavy on confirmation bias of ppl who already hate BangPD and hype
  • I have to give it to her she knows PR so well and knows how and when to use it to suit her. But public opinion is not going to help her in court when she is presented with facts and figures. I hope she has good evidence to back a lot of her supposed claim in court

The longer MHJ talked the more she lost all credibility with me. I live in the US and have spent decades listening to our politicians gaslighting the public. One of the first things you learn as a manipulator is to know your audience. She used key words and phrases to get the Korean people especially the fans on her side. Why talk about killing yourself? Was it because of the suicidal tendencies of Korean entertainers that are under public pressure? Why talk about other KPOP groups? Is that to stir up the fandoms and cause fan wars? The majority of KPOP fans are young and have never worked or worked in a corporation, they based their decisions on how something makes them feel not on facts. What I just listed will get MHJ sympathy from her targeted audience. But she still didn’t answer the charges that are against her. Her act of poor under appreciated woman working with difficult men fell flat when it was revealed how much she actually makes. When she goes to court she will need a better defense with proof if she hopes to win against HYBE. Another thing that bothered me was she wants to take all the credit for NJ success but she never mentioned their music. Singers aren’t successful because of their concept they are successful due to their music. There are tons of groups with awesome concepts that have not been successful because their music didn’t find an audience to propel them to the next level. As a woman in SK she was given the keys to the kingdom, and this is how she handled things. She just made it harder for other women to climb the corporate ladder in a male dominated space.

The press con was a perfectly executed con. A millionaire CEO who came in looking like a homeless person, using profanities and rambling speech patterns to seem like an everyday person. An art director who's an expert at setting a stage or a scene. A power-hungry person who was given all that is needed to successfully launch a girl group who got caught being greedy for more. A disloyal and ungrateful employee who also manipulates the people in her care. An untrustworthy, immoral and unethical person who has no qualms leaking personal information of others. When the eff is the court date?
  • @maggieryan9047
I completely agree with you. Before this whole drama, her vibe/energy made me feel she shouldn't be trusted. I wish I had been wrong!
  • @Exentaser
Thank you for this breakdown! Unfortunately, many people fell for her circus and manipulation tactics.
  • @sandraotto6352
As a former teacher the first thing I thought was this is exactly the way some kids act when they are caught red handed doing something wrong. Suddenly when they have to face the consequences of their actions they are crying and denying even in the face of being told I actually saw you do…for example, hurt another child . Not buying it. Thank you for your clear and concise analysis.
  • @ridita5221
She looks crazy. I can't take her seriously in that outfit with messy hair and without makeup. She doesn't look like a potential CEO at all. She should be clear, cool and collected, not a mess, like this.

I am finding this scandal very entertaining. As an outsider, American, I can see the parallels with our political scandals. There are some people who are vulnerable to manipulation because it reinforces their own narrative and biases; some large shadowy group is controlling things and we are constantly under threat from "them". Koreans are the same in that they make a villain of the company and support someone they see as a victim and one of the exploited. I just can't see a millionaire CEO as one of the exploited victims in this case. Who is being hurt are the artists and fans.
  • @user-iv8xn6gz8s
Great analysis regarding her style of manipulation to clean her hands.Greed, narcissist characteristics, victim syndrome. If youre not happy then leave rather than tarnish the company that gave you this opportunity to start her own company in a silver platter use all the assets of the company than start in the garage like Bang PD with BTS. This started because she was treatened by a competition illitt , then make something better for NJ .Concepts can be use by every group because it works. Imitation is a form of admiration. BTS started to have youtube content to connect with fans Now everyone is doing it did BTS said they are copying them? No,, because they are not greedy. People follow what works for them and this also pertains to concept, choreography, pictorials etc. She afraid of the competition.

If this woman acts this way when the cameras are watching then I can only imagine what she’s like when she thinks no one is watching.
