" He led me to the kitchen, seated me at the table, and then fed me with the food he had. Mostly they were semi-finished products, the food was modest but tasty. I was discouraged and asked him to tell me in detail about this place, to which he agreed and continued: "Place 6787X is not a city or a village, it is a research base that was founded in 1962. I was one of its founders. Previously, this object was carefully guarded, things were studied here that ordinary people should not have known. Today, this base does not have much scientific use, since much has changed in 60 years. Only a few researchers sometimes come here to do some research and send information up. To date, I am the only local resident who acts as a guardian of this territory." I was a little shocked by the story that the old man told me about, and asked: "What did they study here, Reynold?". "Sorry buddy, but that's all I can tell you about this place, I'm forbidden to say more for the rest of my life. But believe me, I saw a lot of unusual and interesting things here. If I could only tell you a small part of those stories that I have seen here, your opinion about this world would change dramatically. My advice to you is, as soon as the blizzard is over, get in the car and go home. Don't ask why, just go." I thanked Reynold and returned to my house. All evening I was thinking about what I heard from him today. And the very next morning, when the blizzard ended, I left the house to leave. And suddenly something unusual began to happen to me. On the threshold I saw a book lying in a leather cover, in small cursive it was written: "The Truth." This book was not here before, a chill ran through my body. I quickly got into the car and left the place. I thought this mystery story was over, but I was wrong. After driving about one mile, I saw something I didn't believe at first. In the sky hung a sphere of mirror color with a diameter of a twenty-story building. He slowly moved to the side, and made an unpleasant characteristic sound. The sphere then shone with a very bright white light that blinded me. A few seconds later I had a blackout, and a little later I realized I was driving a car ten miles from my home. I slammed on the brakes, got out of the car, and tried to recover. I couldn't believe what happened to me. I saw something unusual, then a light, and then after hours of my journey I regained consciousness. I never told this story to anyone, but it made me look at the world with different eyes. Since then, I have realized the simple truth that if we cannot explain something, this does not mean at all that it does not exist at all. "
