The fact that our society is obsessed with looking for ways to extend our earthly life or artificially keep our youth also explains why the imagery turns people away. "As you are now I once was. As I am now, soon you will be."

I did it. It took me while but I am finally all caught up. I love your vids, the format feels very fantasy-esc while still keeping God at the centre. Keep up the good work, God bless
  • Loved this!! I was caught off guard by the pointing out of the rise of occultism, it's such a great explanation for the sensibilities westerners have come to have. Keep up your work!
  • @untoages
I'm glad you covered this topic. I've had a few people ask why I use skulls and other dark imagery with my channel and now I can just refer them to this :D

He has Risen indeed! We have missed you in our subscriptions my friend! Welcome back Stephan! ❤☦️
  • Crazy how easy it is to gloss over all the biblical examples of relics.
  • @ValidityJ
Ooooh wow!! I love the connection you express that because God physically came to earth, the world has more physical value. That's an Amazing point!!
  • @MrBJYates
Cool video! Would love to see one on holy fire someday. Thanks for keeping them coming!

I really like the Bulgarian word for relics from bodily remains, which literally translates to "mights" as in "powers". So we are usually talking about the mights of the saints. P.S. I know this is may not be etymologically related to the actual Bulgarian word for "might", but it is still interesting.
  • @ArchangelIcon

Good video, thank you for helping me wrap my head around relics.
  • Thank you, brothers Robinson! I came right here after our FOSTR class when Fr. Andrew recommended it.
