Back in 2017 a young YouTuber known as Sceneable caused a bit of a stir when he advocated for the western world to adopt communism. His video "we need communism" made him a pariah, and he was mocked and criticized throughout various YouTube communities. But the criticism only seemed to embolden Sceneable, and he pushed back and remained steadfast in his ideals. This is the story of Sceneables rise to YouTube infamy, his battle with the community, and what has happened to him in recent years.

youtube deleted ALL the comments without giving any explanation sorry guys
  • A little kid just saying that he didn't want his channel to be controversial anymore really hit me in the gut.

"Old habits don't die hard, they die slowly... and as they die you begin to recognize them less and less." - A friggen 11 year old

I remember that 2016-2017 era on YouTube where children were swearing and becoming political geniuses and grown men made a living bullying them
  • “Old habits don’t die hard, they die slowly” This kid is so so well spoken I’m so heartbroken that he’s going/went through all of this.

Hearing a little kid talk about going through depression was really upsetting to me. Hit me in the feels.
  • @mrbubbles2569
Poor kid he had nothing but kindness in his heart and got the worst the Internet had to offer in return
  • This kid is clearly gifted. The video about depression... Omg. He's so intrapersonal and complex in his reflections.
  • @AnotherTuesday
This poor kid grew up too fast. Even focusing on politics as an adult affects me negatively.
  • @Old-ded-memes
Is it just me or is it starting to get cringe looking back and seeing how many adult YouTubers made their living roasting kids online.
  • @lunajack9947
This kid is more intelligent than all the commentary channels that mocked him combined, despite his young age , he was very well spoken
  • @RapTapTap69
Little man's is going to be 20 years old with 15 years of public relations experience. He's the golden child of hiring agents lol
  • @brokenlegs8431
"Yeah, you showed that 8 year old!" Man there was a mini era of grown men going in on children on the internet
  • @scumbagjesus999
I've seen this scenario a dozen times. Kids who often start out bright, intelligent and with promising futures are often the ones who burn out the hardest in adulthood. Hopefully he finds new passions into adulthood
  • @flobwad
The fact this 8 year old boy is better spoken and has more empathy towards the less privileged than all these adults mocking and bullying him, just tells us how fucked up we are as a civilization. When he was speaking about his depression, my heart broke. He’s an exceptionally intelligent kid.
  • Political ideologies aside, this kid is extremely intelligent
  • @mrjakeisnumber2
"Old habits don't die hard; they die slowly. And, as they die, you begin to recognize them less and less" I can't even imagine what it's like to describe burnout so eloquently when you're LESS THAN 10 YEARS OLD
  • @kristixmichelle
He was a little a head of his time. I think now the bullying of children is less tolerated by others. He's really intelligent and he could come back anytime as a commentary channel. Bless his heart. Edit..when he started talking about depression and panned the camera away from his face....awh, it broke my heart. I hope he is doing fantastic.

Kids just 5 years older trying to call him out - without having one single thought of their own is rediculous! lmfao This kid was pretty smart, had no prejudices - He could explain everything bc he developed his own opinion based on his background knowledge. That's impressive asf!
