Uncharted 4 is also one i would have mentioned, for eight year old game it looks great even today.

A Plague Tale: Requiem absolutely blew me out of the water with its realistic graphics. The raw beauty of that game is unbelievable.

Honestly I think BF1 looked better than BFV. A lot of world simulation systems were downgraded by BFV such as the wind-affected volumetric smoke systems as well as clothing physics and skin rendering. Same issue with Battlefront 2, interestingly enough. battlefront 2 had a lot of compromises that makes Battlefront 1 look better in my eyes

This video really highlights how we hit a plateau in graphics at the last of of 2010’s. From Battlefront 2 in 2018 to RDR to BFV we saw the best looking games and sadly it’s almost like we’ve seen downgrades in this newest Gen. I really hope in the next few years we see some leaps like we did about 5-6 years ago.

The metro games will be a treasured storytelling experience for me one that I will never forget. Everthing about metro exodus is great, Artyom completes his character development, from a shy naive and selfish character in the first game to a loving, empathising, and altruistic character at the end. The graphics evolution, first ever fully rtx implementation of a game, good soundtrack, good story, satisfying conclusion (if you got the good ending), the hardships the developers faced during early days of their studio. All worth it in the end the game is beautiful.

Batman Arkham Knight deserves to be on the list. For a game released in 2015 it still holds up incredibly well.

First Battlefront from Dice was even better at that time, such a huge leap in graphics and sound... and performance was great too. Damn I miss having jaw dropping effect from each new game from Dice, hopefully next BF will do that.

As an everything-gamer that played Ghost of Tsushima on PS4 and upgraded on PS5, I'd want to see how much further it can be pushed on PC.
  • @Hostile2430
Honorable mention to Death Stranding one of the best game visualy and probably the most realistic looking characters I've seen in open world games It's sequel is going to be also mind blowing to look at
  • @baggytony
NFS 2015, driveclub and forza horizon 5 are some of the most realistic looking driving games out there
  • @jumbusdumbus59
Mad Max was incredibly underrated, my second favorite was Kingdom Come Deliverance, the forests looks so real.
  • @Azerrz
Great list but I personally think TLOU2 should always be in the conversation for best looking game. It's jawdropping to say the least.

I often find myself playing rdr2 only to look at the grafics. It's simply the best looking game ever
  • @Schizm1
CP2077 is a freakin masterpiece. Thankfully CDPR kept working on it and ironed out most of the bugs and glitches
  • @JaegerT99
AC: Unity is amazing, too. The gameplay especially parkour moves made me just patrolling around the map (through stunning buildings) was so satisfying
  • @guillaume_Chr
Dice's game between SWBF (2015) and BFV was absolutly stunning !
  • @bigchonc1
Even if you don’t like cyberpunk 2077, the visuals are absolutely stunning
  • @EfrainMan
One game that that still has some amazing visuals is Ghostwire Tokyo. It may have gotten some mid reviews, but the visuals are still stunning with all the ray tracing turned on in the major areas. It helped that it takes place on a on-and-off rainy night, but seeing Shinjuku all lit up with the lights and reflections everywhere, it's still quite stunning. It was enough for me to want to finish the game, even through some of the late game tedium.
  • @jonas_bento
A Plague Tale: Requiem is also really beautiful.
  • @travisspazz1624
Blows my mind that Forbidden West is a cross gen game!! Absolutely stunning!
