Rest In Peace Christopher Reeve, without whom we would have never believed that a man could fly.

At 1:04 I literally cry hearing the choir chorus at the back..Its so powerful. Its like the voice of Kryptonians

I still remember seeing this film in Marlton, NJ. My then girlfriend from college (now wife) lived in South Jersey> I drove up to spend the weekend with her and her family. I came directly from my summer engineering internship in Baltimore. We met up, watched the movie, then had a great dinner afterwords. When the music started I felt like I was 8 years old again, watching one of the original Christopher Reeve/Richard Donner films, with John Williams krypton fanfare and then transitioning into the single bass notes of the opening theme. Superman Returns (2006) is drastically underrated and deserved a sequel for the Routh/Spacey Superman/Luthor duo.

As an EMT, this song is amazing to drive lights and sirens to

Whenever i hear krypton's theme then superman's march i get chills every time. this theme song is so epic.

One of the greatest superhero themes ever. It's just WRONG not hearing this in a Superman movie.

This score is still amazing and i love Superman returns for putting it in there.

This will always and forever be the superman theme no matter what ever comes along in the future

wow. Bryan Singer is notorious for putting a tease of the opening theme in the studio fanfare. It's in this, and in the recent two X-men films.

On the Doomed planet Krypton, a wise scientist placed his infant son into a spacecraft and launched him to earth and became our greatest protector..... Superman But when astronomers found the distant remains of his home world Superman disappeared

I was 8 when this movie came out. This is MY Superman. Always will be. Although, Henry Cavil's pretty good. But this is my Superman.
  • @H3llboundHero
I know it’s a cliche but this literally makes me wish I can take off and start flying
  • I don't care what anyone says this theme was needed in Man of steel cuz its Superman's official theme.
  • @H3llboundHero
This is up there with Star Wars and Indiana Jones as one of the best film scores ever composed
  • @Lurker1979
Loved the inclusion of the classic John Williams fanfare from the original films.
