The Labrador Retriever, often abbreviated to Labrador, is a breed of retriever dog that was developed from imported Canadian fishing dogs. Labs descend from the Newfoundland Dog and the St. John’s Water Dog in Newfoundland, Canada. The Labrador Retriever was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1917 and thereafter rose slowly but steadily in popularity due to its incredible versatility, obedience, and rugged good looks. It is now considered the world’s most popular breed.

  • Hi! Thank you for your videos, that are really helpful. Could you please make a video about prices of puppies and one with all the expenses and income sin a kennel? I would like to breed, but not sure if it pays off. You have to have another job and a kennel requires lots of time

I am working with a reputable breeder. I am planning to pick up my female puppy personally in January. She charges $500 extra for full registration with breeding rights. She has one available now, but I'm not quite ready as I am moving this Summer. It will be another 2 years plus before first litter. Its a long term commitment. I hate puppy mills with a passion!! We must report abuse when we see it. Thank you for a great video.
