"Should have a track width of at least 12 metres" Monaco: 3, take it or leave it
  • @ForeverF1
Now I can see why there aren’t that many new tracks being built regularly

Me: want to go to bed WTF1: What does it take for a circuit to be F1 ready? Me: Lets find out
  • in other words: it´s easier build a brand new international airport able to receive a fully loaded A380 than have a F1 racetrack

For the next F101, can you do: "how much money does the guy that holds the F1 car during a pitstop make?" Edit: to clarify, I mean the guy that keeps the car stabilized during a stop. It seems like a very simple job.

Imagine spending so much money and time into a new track for F1 only to be a Grade 2 or below

As a marshall, I can say even we have to be on the track 5days ago from race. There are people who came earlier from us so preparing a track for race is a thing

Apart from the fact that the FIA would ruin it, Watkins Glen should host F1 again. Its one of the best race tracks in the world. Either layout.
  • Would love to know the process of how Melbourne had to proceed in doing the upgrades and changes to the track layout.

I would love to see the changes that were proposed to Buenos Aires' circuit to host F1. It would be nice to have a long track with lots of DRS and braking zones. Or adapting Termas de Rio Hondo (the MotoGP one) for F1.

I think Indianapolis Motor Speedway still has their grade 1 license even though they haven't hosted a F1 race since 2006.
  • As a citizen of India I wish the Indian gp ( budh international Circuit ) would've had a comeback . Many people think that the track is dead but it's not it's still used for many events ,mostly for road legal sports car also a fun fact the tracks fastest lap time in a road legal car is set by Narain Karthikeyan with a Porsche GT2 rs

Answer: "Piles of cash into the right hands, usually forwarded to Tilke to 'fix' your track". At least, that was the previous answer.
  • 2:10 - 25km loops and the Nordschleife are out because it's too far because of safety, too far to get to anyone. But what about Lausitzring's 11km layout, where the furthest part of the track away from the pits (by air) is 1km?
